Holy moly what a let down. For 2 months I was excited for the big "ski boot custom fitting" appointment. For the hour I was there, the guy only interacted with me for some of the time and was mostly running around doing other things. When he did come over with a new boot, one was clearly a bit off and too large. The only other alternative he offered felt extremely narrow and was a full 10mm shorter than my current boots that were from a custom fitting appointment from Mountain West back in the days and fit pretty well. The entire time there were very little explanations about what he wants to customize or why he chose those particular boots. When I told him I'm not sure, he said "then keep wearing your current boots until you die" (yes :)). I was basically forced to pay for the ski socks he gave me to try. I’ve been skiing for 50 years. The last 10 or so were with on and off foot pain due to poor fitted boots. I thought I was going to sadly quit skiing because my foot pain was too much. I came across Uli and gave it another go due to some positive reviews from skiers with challenging boot fit. I purchased some boots, foot beds and had them custom fit my boots. After the initial fit I could go all day almost pain free. I brought them in for a minor adjustment and now I’m completely pain free, warm and comfortable. I’m totally blown away by their customer care and support across the entire staff, their patience and expertise and dedication to the sport to those of us who love the sport and want to continue as we age and change.
