Monday night, April 23rd before midnight, I went to taco cabana with a couple of friends and had quite the experience.
We pull up to the drive through window and was greeted very rudely. As we were ordering, the woman constantly asked us to speak up because the train horn was being louder than us. After screaming at the drive-thru for about 5 mins, she asks us to pull up to order.
We are asked our order again, which was fine; the train was really loud and it was late. After asking about the 20% discount towards students, military, senior citizens, etc. she acted like the sign wasn't plastered right in front of her. She said "I should really take that sign down." She proceeded to tell me that we couldn't have the student discount because we ordered a kid's meal (among other items).
After debating for another ten minutes, with a line way beyond us, they begin cooking our food with the window. She couldn't accept our credit card, couldn't add the discount, and messed up on our order on many occasions.
Upon receiving our food, I decided to make sure all our items were there. We were missing a child's drink, a quesadilla, and a chips and queso. After showing her the receipt, showing her the food items, and dumping the already empty bag right in front of her, she continued to persist that WE HAD THE FOOD. After showing her the receipt again, with the appropriate items, she kept on insisting that we were trying to get another $3 quesadilla for free.
We eventually, after much reluctance and attitude from her, got the drink and the quesadilla. I was too heated to even realize that we didn't get the order of chips and queso we ordered and argued over the sum of 20 mins. All of the food was cold by the time we were able to eat it.
I was warned not to come to this TC because of the lack of cleanliness, but I guess I should have been more warned of the finger-pointing and hostile workers. I would recommend this place to...

I just wanted to express how much I love your breakfast burritos! As a frequent customer, I have tried several items on your menu, but my ultimate favorite is the egg, chorizo, bacon, and cheese combo. It never fails to hit the spot every time I order it! 😋
I particularly appreciate the freshness and hotness of your food, which speaks volumes about your kitchen's efficiency. The variety of salsas available is also commendable, and I enjoy trying different flavors each visit. However, if I'm being completely honest, I do have a soft spot for the original salsa – it's simply divine! 🤩
As someone who has been coming to this location in Round Rock, Texas (specifically in East Palm Valley), I can confidently say that your establishment is one of the best breakfast spots around! Your team's dedication to providing excellent service and high-quality food is truly admirable. 💪

Update 1/13/2025 : I had an issue with the other Taco Cabana in round Rock located off I-35 and Hester's crossing I immediately drove over to the store here off 79 and once again nothing but five star service from the store if you're going to experience Taco Cabana this is the place to go unfortunately for the time being the store off 35 and Hester's crossing needs...
Read moreThis is the worst place we ever eat! Well let me tell you . We came in to this place today 6/26/2016 Sunday around after 4pm. We ordered food for our family. I went to the bathroom came out the food was ready and my husband gave me a cup so I can get the drink that I want. Well I went and about to reach and get a sweat tea . Well, the sweet tea been seating since we order but no one came to put some sugar I asked the one of employee if the sweet was ready and her response was "I don't know" well the unsweet tea is already brewed for a while about 15 mins and no one took time to even put a sugar nor put the lid. Then. I asked again to another employee he said ok. By this time put food been in the table my husband and my son was waiting for me to sit down and eat. Then I asked again this time I said to the manager who was in the register about the sugar in the sweet tea so I can sit down and eat" he look at me shake his head looking disappointed and said they have sweet by the area were to go food... I was so mad. Yet I didn't say anything... But Really all this time. The poor customer service !!! Rude Manager!!
