N Main Street Tacos — Restaurant in Roxboro

Surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, which I enjoyed. I noticed the perfect 100 "A" score posted next to the cashier station, which always puts me at ease, knowing my food will be properly prepared. The dining area was simple, but spotlessly clean. The 'A La Mexicana (Steak)' plate I ordered arrived very quickly, and was perfectly prepared. The menu is simple, but the selections are all great choices. More like a street taco truck menu than a larger chain restaurant, but that's just fine. There aren't any Margaritas (or Liquor), but they do have Cervezas (Beer selections) available. Worst lunch ever. Too Expensive, as dinner prices on other restaurants. And lunch plates are like kids plates. Everyone got chips and salsa but my table. I don’t know for sure if it was because we got water instead of fruit water or soda. We said regular water and they were disappointed. And waitress never came back to check on us. But other tables . I had to call her to ask for some hot salsa . And hot salsas looks like water. To finish long wait to pay. Clean restaurant, great prices and the food was very authentic and really good. It's definitely not a mainstream Mexican restaurant. They were steady and we waited about 10 mins for our food. I recommend you call the order in and pick it up for takeout. I had a steak taco and a pastor taco. The hubby had the ACP(chicken and rice coated in cheese). We also had queso and chips. The tacos and flour tortillas are small, so if you have a big appetite, I suggest you get more than 2. It was perfect for me. They have plenty of selections...
