Hippie's Pizza — Restaurant in Royal Oak

Quality foods, reasonable prices, great/extensive menu. I order from Hippie's fairly regularly, they offer great food. This being said, they make a ton of little mistakes. I went a round of 10 orders in a row with mistakes. After a couple mistakes, the owner took one of my complaints and told me it wasn't his fault if they didn't deliver my whole order because they didn't charge me for it... Honestly, charge me for what I ordered, and then deliver what I ordered, your inaccuracies should be your fault, not my problem. Upon my latest complaint, I refused to pay the delivery driver and sent him back to the store with all the food they offered me, I wouldn't pay unless I received what I ordered. This resulted in the owner personally delivering the order to me. What a dick! He said I could not order delivery anymore, told me I was "jinxed," and that he couldn't afford to remake food and send a driver out over little mistakes. I work as a delivery driver at another pizzeria, I know what it's like. This was just ridiculous! I called back and spoke with a great girl on the phone. She promised that she would oversee my orders if I called on days she works, and would allow my orders to go through. I was told by the owner to leave a poor review, so here it is. I've been a customer of Hippies since it was Pizzatallica, well over a decade. A week ago my friends and I ordered two pizzas a little after 1 a.m., they said it'd be an hour and a half. No big deal, we were happy to wait. the pizzas never showed up and nobody answered when we called to see what happened. Till now, we ordered every weekend, so I figured I'd bring it up the next time I called to get an explanation and see if they'd make it right. The owner Chris Culbertson yelled at me, unprovoked, for several minutes and told me to order a pizza or go leave a bad review. I've worked on and off in food service for over a decade, and I cannot recall anyone being that aggressive, unhinged, and generally toxic. I really liked their pizza, and we've probably spent $3000 there in the past year alone. I'll never order from there again and will tell everyone I can about what a nightmare that guy is. If there had been some sort of apology for the messed up order even that would have been enough. From the moment he was on the phone the guy was completely out of his mind. Ordered from Hippies I have had their pizza one other time and it was great. Ordered my food around 7:40. Went to pick it up for the girlfriend and I at 8:28. Walk in and the gentleman at the counter has my order up on the Grub Hub tablet next to him and goes uhh yea man I'm trying to find your order right now in our computer... Granted ive already paid for the order and its sitting on the tablet right next to him with my name on it. He then informs me that my pizza's were never made and its going to be 45 mins for my food... really? This is my first actual visit to Hippies and my last. Ive tried the food and would agree they have some of the BEST pizza but unfortunately your staff failed to apologize, offer any sort of compensation, or make the situation right in any way.
