I don't usually write reviews but do to the unprofessional service I got and the fact that we weren't contacted to make it right, I am appalled, being a restaurant owner myself, that they would be satisfied conducting business this way. I ordered from here twice. Once I was in the store with my daughter for a slice. They were nice, nothing over the top. The second time my husband ordered us all food in store. We would come back to pick up. He even left them a $4 tip before pick up. There was some confusion during communication with the girl taking the order. He pointer at the sliders on the menu. And they made me a florentine whole burger. When I called about the confusion she said she didnt realize what he meant and she didn't realize he was pointing at slider. She would put the manager on the phone. Understandable these confusions happen, I own a pizzeria in Philly, during these issues we just make it right for the satisfaction of the customer as long as its reasonable. Well this guy didnt offer nothing to make it right. Not even what I origianlly actually ordered and continued to argue with me how he heard the order but wasn't close enough to see the pointing and blah blah blah, finally I just was like okay whatever and as I am saying well okay he hangs up the phone on me. I pick up the burger to eat it the whole bottom of the bun was soggy, sopping wet; falling apart. My husband said no I am going back there. We only live down the street. He shows them the food, "the manager" picks up the food with his bare hands and says we I'll make you a new one. At this point I just want my money back for the burger. He says he is not authorized to do so, calls the cops to escort my husband out of the store, who try to give him the food that was just handled with bare hands. Was also told we would receive a phone call from the owner to dicuss the situation. No call, no food or no money. Read moreHaving grown up in Runnemede, I was looking forward to dinner from the place residing in the former home of Pizza Star & Satellite. Boy have things changed. I called ahead as I was driving in and arrived five minutes after their estimated time. When I walked in, the counter area was chaotic despite the lack of customers. There was one table occupied and two customers waiting. I asked both of them if they were in line and both told me they had already ordered. I walked up to the register and waited. And waited. And waited. Despite the fact that there were a half dozen people working behind the counter, not a single person bothered to even make eye contact, let alone acknowledge me. Once someone finally managed to saunter up to the counter, they pulled my pizza and wings out and rang me up. Luckily I opened the bag to check before I left, because the plates and napkins I had specifically asked for were missing. Having this oversight seemed to take an act of Congress, but after about ten minutes, I was finally on my way. Once I started eating, the real disappointment began. Chewy, bland crust topped with straight from the can sauce and bottom of the barrel mozzarella. The wings were very obviously the frozen-from-the-bag variety half-heartedly tossed in some sauce from a jug. Read moreOrdered pizza and wings (mild) from Luigis and the wings were NOT mild. My lips swelled up and i couldn't even eat the pizza because my mouth was already burning at this point. My two guests couldn't even the wings. They were unbearably HOT!! So i called luigis to let them know and a nice young lady answered and apologized and said she'd send out another order (this time they'd be plain). 10 minutes later i get a call back from a man and he said that he couldn't replace my order because he insists the sauce they use is mild! If this is mild then i honestly dont want to know what the HOT sauce is like. This was extreme! And he was extremely persistent and didnt care about just fixing the issue. Now $50 later my guests and i are hungry and angry.
Moral of the story is. You're lucky your establishment is still open during this pandemic, you should appreciate and treat your customers nicely but instead, luigis has chosen to lose a 5+ year customer over some wings that should have easily been corrected!
