Visited for the first time to try breakfast. The place is clean and well lit. Waitresses are very friendly and attentive. I had coffee which was good, and a Hobo Skillet. The skillet was excellent! It game out sizzling hot, veggies and potatoes were fresh and perfectly cooked, and the scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. Everyone at our table enjoyed their experience. Will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Good food and prices. Nice lil place to stop ny and grab a bite on the way up or down from big bear. The majority of the offers are mexican food. They do have some american breakfast options, but not to many. They do a have a couple of country breakfast options as well. Stop by and try it out.

I am literally shocked at how many 5 star reviews this place has. Maybe we went on an off day, but we certainly did not have a 5 star experience.

We ordered from the waitress and she never returned. Her son who I'm assuming is also the cook dropped off the food and that was the last we ever saw of anyone. I had to go to the counter to ask to pay after waiting 20 minutes after we were done eating to pay.

The food was less than mediocre. My husband ordered the Deluxe Breakfast and there was nothing deluxe about it. I order the waffle deluxe breakfast. The bacon for both orders was one step below burnt, it was hard as a rock. My hashbrowns were barley above frozen. The waffle was decent and I did enjoy that. My husband's biscuits and gravy were terrible. No flavor to the gravy and his biscuits tasted doughy, like they had not been cooked thru.

They never came back to check on us, or ask us if we ever needed anything else. There was one waitress who looked like the owner possibly. They need more wait staff and a cook who knows how to cook.

Again, maybe we came by on an off day for this place. It was a Saturday morning before 11am. But needless to say, we will not be back. We spent $40 for that disappointing food and lack of service.

I love supporting small business up here on the mountain, but this one needs work. Also, the seats are way to low for how high the table is, which makes it uncomfortable to eat, and the decor doesn't really match a cabin theme. Seems like they got stuff on discount and tried to through it all together instead of trying to purchase items that went with the...

I would like to give a great review but I can't. I was so happy a new restaurant was coming to town but after trying 2 times I am sad to report it is not good. 3 breakfast orders and all were bad. "Waffle no butter". Comes out slathered in butter. By the time syrup brought out, waffle cold and tough. Wrong potato side brought out. The sausage was not browned and had a strange tasting spice in it. The eggs Benedict was undercooked and not edible. This plate also had a piece of hair in it. The stuffed french toast tasted sour with only a dab of the orange marmalade. How do you mess up diet coke? You serve expired soda or you don't rinse your cups. Either way - gross. The server swapped the potatoes for what was ordered but then disappeared. When we left we saw her on her break outside. No one checked on us, refilled drinks, or brought a check. When I got up and went to cashier to pay, she seemed annoyed. The bill was over $50. I mentioned to the cashier (who is the owner - the same person who should have checked on us while our server was on a break) the issues we had with the meal, she talked over me and said we should have said something earlier.... Hello... No server. The restaurant was not full and now I see why. Stay clear. Go to Old County Coffee Shop across the street. Excellent food and service. And reasonable prices. I will not waste my money at Tapia's Red...

Everything is so nice in this place, and I got here for the first time ever on opening weekend. First and foremost, it has a really wonderful and comfy atmosphere, alongside with customer service that is so nice and kindhearted. Second, the food: I tried out the Western BBQ Burger, and trust me, it got me memories to Red Robin of Redlands. Fun fact: Did you know that some foods here used to be at Old Country Coffee Shop? It's great that they made it back on the menu for this place. Third and last, the experience: It's perfect that they remodeled the place from a relic of the past (Hilltop Chinese Restaurant from 2015-2020) and managed to make this a wonderful place! I absolutely loved it, 100%, and I highly recommend going here, whether you're from the Mountain community, or...
