Frank's Restaurant — Restaurant in Rural Hall

This was the 1st time ever coming to Rural Hall. Looked for a good place to eat and checked the reviews and since Frank's had good reviews we decided to go. The two people who took our order was friendly and both had smiles and very attentive. I asked them if they could ask the cook to cut up my food because my one hand is in a cast from surgery and my food was perfectly cut into small pieces. I want to thank the cook/chef for doing that for me. The food was out of this world, my mom and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Gone here for years, always had great food. My only problem is tonight I started calling trying to place a takeout order at about 9pm. They would not answer. So I drove to the restaurant to place my order. I get there at 9:15, the open sign was off but the sign on the door said they stay open till 10pm. I walked in and asked the boy that was cleaning if they were open and he said yes. I go to the counter to place my order and the man asked me if I already placed my order. I explained that I tried calling a few times and no one answered. He replied with well our kitchen is closed. And turned around and walked off. Frank's is a classic style of pizza. I have met the guy. Good guy. Good food. The pasta is hearty and rich with a great quality of ingredients, plenty of garlic (if you prefer it) and a pizza crust that has a chew that is authentic as it is delicious. If you're into having good food in a humble, small town setting and not paying a fortune for it--do yourself a favor here. Grab a one topping pizza for ten bucks, some of that spaghetti with red sauce and enjoy what's leftover the next morning, right outta the fridge. Dirt cheap. Great pizzas. Great toppings.
