Creamery Pizza & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Rushford

This was our first visit. We were seated promptly. We purchased one kid's meal and three salad bar/pizza buffets. We received three drinks and ten minutes later the fourth with no explanation. The entire first hour we were there there was a total of 2 pizzas provided to the buffet with multiple tables having purchased it. Our table paid for three buffets and had access to a total of four slices of pizza. Two of those were chicken Alfredo which were consumed out of hunger not desire. No attempt was made to explain the situation, offer us another food item or to keep drinks refilled. We were asked before any pizza was made available (there were no pizzas on the buffet when we arrived and thirty minutes later two were served for approx 15 waiting people) if we would be eating ice cream after. We said probably. Our waitress told us just to pay upfront for our meal with our ice cream and never returned. We finally gave up on the buffet and went to order ice cream. There were no undipped waffle cones available so we were asked to wait while they made one. It was hot when the ice cream was put in it. Our second ice cream was served with a hair on the spoon that ran into the ice cream. Our expectations of the Creamery Pizza & Ice Cream were high. I had heard good things about it from family and friends. We were beyond dissatisfied and disappointed!! When the first in our party of '9' arrived it was suggested that the early arrivals, cram into a corner booth. When a family member suggested there may not be enough room, the waitress said "we can move you later, if necessary". Really?? When I made our reservations one week prior, I specifically requested "back room seating". I also inquired about Gluten-free options, because I have severe wheat/gluten allergies. When our waitress arrived, she told us the specials. I inquired about the pizza buffet having Gluten-free options. She said I don't know - - I'll check. She never came back with an answer, so I ordered from the menu. I ordered a cheeseburger with fried onions and NO BUN. My order included chips. I told her bring me everything but the bun. My plate arrived. I had NO chips, but my cheeseburger arrived atop a nice WHEAT BUN!! Needless to say, I sent it back. Unbelievable!! Two of my sisters ordered side salads. Just like other regular customers, we liked the food and thought we'd try something else. Very disappointed!

We wanted to try the 16" Xtra Special Pizza for the listed online for $23.20. Holly Cr-p it was $34.00! Trish told me the old, "didn't have their new menus in yet" story! Yeah, but nothing was stopping them from changing it on line!

This Covid excuse is ridiculous, thanks Biden's. If resturanteers and businesses don't start standing up to these inflated prices. $11.00 more for an already inflated price for a little better than a 16" bar style pizza at $23 bucks, people like myself will just walk away! Empty building, no job Trich! W The last time I was in there I had ordered a burger with a "slice of onion and tomatoe", please. What came out was 4 half pieces of shriveled up hard flat outside chewy old onion and a sloppy looking tomatoe but a least it was a slice. The waitress needs to check what comes out of the kitchen and the kitchen should know better!
