On July 24th, 2013 my granddaughter, my daughter and I had lunch in the picnic area of the Russell, Ks. Sonic. While we waited for our food my granddaughter played on the playground equipment. Once our food arrived she returned to the table, mean while the couple sitting at the other table took their 2 dogs over to the playground and released them into the playground area and closed the gate and let them round around until they relieved them selves in the sand that was on the ground for the children. The couple then let the dogs out, got in their car and left. I turned in a complaint and the waitress said she would report it to the manager. I got no response so I assume it was just ignored. When my granddaughter wanted to go play in the playground area I refused to let her go play for the dogs had peed in the sand several places. I would suggest that you not allow your kids to play there either. There was plenty of grass there for their dogs. That is where they should let their dogs relieve...
Read moreOkay, y'all... We came up this morning to a store that was so empty we thought it was closed. We pulled up anyway out of confusion. There was zero hesitation on the response to the pull up. We needed a moment but ended up settling on breakfast. We were not rushed or reminded like a lot of locations do even when it's dead. She was working alone but had extraordinary service and communication skills. We didn't mind having to wait for our orders given we had 3 meals and coffees. We got our food much faster than I typically get it at other places. It was fresh, piping hot, we had sauces, napkins; everything. I've seen pros cave on a 2 person order when they are alone and have people pulling into line. I won't post their name, but mad props to this...
Read moreI am only giving 2 starts because the food was good. Although, we ordered ahead using the app. I put in for extra sauces and received less than half of them. After pushing the button for help to get the rest, the woman who answered had very poor customer service and an attitude. She wanted to argue and tell us “it’s usually 10¢ extra after 2 free sauces so that’s why you didn’t get the other half of your sauces.” First, I would have paid the extra if that’s what it took. That doesn’t bother me. I’ll pay what I have to pay. What bothered me is the poor attitude.
