Southern Classic Chicken — Restaurant in Ruston

I have no complaints in regards to the chicken, both bone in and strips are very good. The sides could use much improvement. The fries and okra are decent, but the other options leave much to be desired.

The 1 star rating is due to the service. I have been there a few times and every time the employees' attitudes are as if I am a burden to them. Very unprofessional...as with many places in Ruston. The last time I visited I came home to find I was missing 3 of my 5 sides. I called to see if I could get a reimbursement or just have the sides added to my order the next time I visited. There was no manager available at the time and the employee who took my call said they couldn't do anything about it because they couldn't verify whether or not I was lying. I called for the manager the next day and several times since only to hear he isn't there or is busy. I have left my name and number and have called every couple of days.....same response. My issue wasn't that big of a deal, but after being accused of lying and being ignored by management they will no longer be receiveing...

This was our first time eating here on 05/30/2021. We decided since, the line was shorter on the right side of the building if, you're facing the restaurant from the front. We found out why. The speaker was terrible. We couldn't make out what the order taker was saying and it was very frustrating. It took a few times of repeating to make sure we were heard correctly. We finally pulled up to the window and we asked for our order to be repeated. The food was nice and hot. We had the fried chicken of course, fried okra and french fries. The one box of fries was seasoned perfectly; the second box of fries hardly had any seasoning at all. The fried okra was perfectly fried with no seasoning on it at all...no salt or Cajun seasoning. The chicken was seasoned nicely with Cajun seasoning. I would try them one more time to see if, it was just an off day or if, the food can be better like I was originally told. When, I'm back in the area, I may give them another try. I would recommend getting the speaker...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! They were out of small cups for the sides and only had large cups. I asked would they keep the small cup size price for the large and they told me no. I don’t understand, you should accommodate customers when the business is lacking on their part. After I bought a large side for the large price, I asked for sauce and they tried to charge me after buying a large side. I even had hair in my box.
