My waitress allowed us to sit at our booth for 20 minutes without so much as a wave to acknowledge us. When she did come, she said that she felt bad and apologized. I can accept a mistake. She then called our order to the cook, three times, but he ignored her and kept wiping down the fridge. I'll reference this later. The cook then brought me a burnt waffle and said that he'll make me another if it's too done. I told him that I would try it and let him know. 5 minutes later he returns with my friends food. I still don't have syrup and our waitress hasn't returned. The cook then says, "I'll be right back with your hash browns." I then watch him put my well-done hash browns on the flat top. 🤦♂️ The waitress had told him THREE times! I wanted warm syrup for my waffle, but at that point I knew that things weren't going to turn around. When the cook came back 8 minutes later with my hash browns, I FINALLY got syrup- not warm of course. My waitress still hadn't come back. I just ate the food because I was starving and was almost two hours in at this point. I was almost finished with my meal when the waitress popped up on her way to another table. 😒 I just paid for my meal and left.
Before this visit, I hadn't been to Waffle House in three years because of incompetence like this.🙃 I was a server for 6 years so I know the struggle. There is no need for me to visit a Waffle...
Read moreAfter a long and distraught trip from Central TX to Ruston, LA for our Daughters funeral, we were all in agreement to try WAFFLE HOUSE before headed back on the long trip. When we pulled up the parking lot n restaurant was packed. Knowing that we had 12 people in our convoy, we stopped in the parking lot to plan another food stop. Well, that's when Miss Yvonne came out (literally came to the parking lot) with a big personality and smile. We told her our concern about having a big group with them being so busy, and she confidently assured us that she would get us taken care of. AND THIS SHE AND THE REST OF THE STAFF DID. With a mix of hugs, laughs, smiles and big personalities--- I must say our experience was GREAT!!! And the food was good and served promply. Didn't have to ask for refills or anything!! The Manager even came by and asked all the tables how they were doing and was our service satisfactory. What a great experience and AMAZING STAFF..... Our waitress was such a doll and kind and prompt. I sadly didn't catch her name, but we now can her the short cutie.... lol

Read moreI understand it’s Waffle House went to Take Out on Friday and Saturday nights. But tonight’s service was Ridiculous. We pulled up to the window. The look we got bc apparently we were disturbing them. We gave the waitress our order which was horrible. She told us give us 20-30 minutes. They had no other orders or customers in the parking lot. We walked back to our vehicle to wait. She proceeded to sit back down and for the next couple minutes no one moved. The cook was eating and playing on his phone.
