7 Artes Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Rutland Township

I hate doing this to a small shop, but the owners were so remarkably arrogant and refused to acknowledge they may've been wrong regarding current pricing on their own menus, I felt by leaving a review they may just address the problem instead of overcharging every person coming in to the restaurant having made the 'mistake' of looking them up on Google.

Long story short, I ordered four tacos at what I thought were $2.25 each (according to their own menu on Google). This should have been $9. Instead, they charged me $3.75 each for a total of $15. I asked why the difference and they blamed me for trusting the menu THEY had updated on Google as it was out of date by several months. If they had just apologized or even acknowledged the error, I would've left it alone. Instead they blamed me for not coming in to the restaurant to look at their paper menus.

Just went there. I asked for a steak burrito, a tostada & 2 kids tacos with just cheese. They charged me 24.00!!!! Should have been like 15.00. They are insane. They were rude when I called them back..asking where the sides were (at least). No way!! Their food for one is mediocre & the prices..they are so over prIced I rather drive 45 minutes to the city for their prices, mediocre food & their attitudes. Taco Burrito King in Chicago charges 7.50 for a king sized burrito..they want 12 bucks here..they are insane! Their “kid” tacos..my 13 year old could have ate 3 or 4..they charged us 8.00 for 2 kid little tiny 1/4 of a tortilla with nothing in it. Seriously..go to Sammy’s in Elgin. My wife and I have been coming here for a while. It is a small place, but the food is delicious. I normally get the skirt steak as does my wife. What can we say..... When you find something that's good, you continue to get it.

The chips & salsa is excellent, especially the green salsa they have. Not to spicy and good flavor. My wife and I normally buy some chips & salsa to go as well as buy a few bottles of the salsa to use with our other food.

They open around 11am (despite me seeing on Google at one time that they opened at 10:30). The staff is friendly and the food comes out fresh. I would recommend this place to at least try. Everybody has different tastes but this place is definitely...
