Visited for the crusin car show, showed up with our crew" Rollin Devils" car club from south elgin...took home some hardware see pic......Nice place, great staff, and absolutely great flame cooked burgers ( see pics) cole slaw was good but not great missing one thing( a seasoning) but not sure which one..piston rods and dipping sauce was amazing...but honestly my opinion I'd call them " bent push rods" lol they are all curved / bent .....met the owner Rob, nice guy very pleasant .spoke with Me and my Wife and son.....definitely recommend going there for burgers or brew, and slots... Thanks Rob Be back soon!

Small out of the way restaurant serving up good food. Decorated nicely with a country vs. Car theme. We chose to go mid Saturday afternoon. Wide variety of things on menu. We started with onion rods. Served with a nice dip. For our main course we did ribeye and filet mignon with baked potatoes and upgraded soup to French onion. French onion soup never came. We reminded our server when she asked could she get us anything. Thank goodness the foods were delicious. Steaks were as we requested medium rare. It is definitely a place we'll keep in my and return to try something else.

We stopped by Cruisin tonight, a Monday night. It was not very crowded at all. The atmosphere was very nice and fit the theme of “Cruisin” with the road signs, memorabilia, and more, including the garage doors that made you feel like you are in a garage style shop. The service was very efficient and good. We got 4 appetizers to share for two of us: fried mushrooms, fried pickles, loaded fries (with pulled pork), and boneless wings. All tasted good and was plentiful. I recommend this to anyone along 72.

We went here tonight for dinner because I simply didn't feel like cooking. We had my 91 year old dad with us so I called ahead to make a reservation as dad uses a walker. They were incredibly accommodating and had a table waiting. (Point for Cruisin') Let me just start by saying the food was awesome! Dad started with the chili (he is truly a chili aficionado) and my husband and I tried the boneless wing in chili sauce. They definitely used authentic Asian chili sauce. Sweet and slightly spicy...delicious! My husband tried the German special...weiner schnitzel with noodles, potatoes, red cabbage, applesauce and green beans. I.e. a LOT of food. Dad had grilled shrimp, beans and coleslaw (he chose the two sides) while I had their Texas cheeseburger. Everything was delicious. My burger was perfectly cooked and my fries were lovely and crisp. The table next to us ordered the fried chicken and it smelled fantastic. I so want to go back to try it! Our drinks were great as well. What made the evening exceptional was our waiter Kenny and another staff member Jake. They were wonderful. Attentive but not intrusive. They were exceptionally helpful and friendly. This place is a hidden gem. Yes...it may seem a bit of a dive but look beyond that and you will not be disappointed. I remember when I was working as a corporate concierge that a high level CEO told me that a true foodie, when asked for a restaurant recommendation, would give three options ...a high end choice, a middle of the road option and a total dive with the similarity being that they all have great food. This place isn't a dive...is sort of middle of the road but it has excellent food and exceptional service. I almost regret writing this review because I would like it to remain my...

Absolutely fantastic! We’ve been living in Gilberts for 4 years and haven’t been to Cruisin’s for fear it was the average local food and watering hole...COMPLETELY WRONG ASSUMPTION! Our two boys ,9 and 11, enjoyed the chicken tenders with their sides (mash with gravy, Mac-n-cheese, fries). Our daughter, 15, loved her mushroom and Swiss burger so much that she is still smiling about it an hour later. My wife had the pulled pork sliders with French onion soup (she loves French onion soup) and couldn’t stop talking about the delicious flavor and the copious amount of cheese, not to mention the flavor and tenderness of the pulled pork. Finally, I had the King Burger. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I’m 46 and have eaten in 4 different countries and nearly a dozen U.S. states, and that was absolutely the greatest tasting burger ever! The service was just as good as the food. Our waitress, Jen, never pressured us in any way, was cheerful/friendly/pleasant at all times, and was so attentive to our needs that I felt as though we were her only customers (we had our dinner at 5:30 during a fairly busy Saturday rush). She was so attentive that our three children never had empty soda glasses and was on the spot with a new fork for my youngest within 30 seconds of his fork falling onto the floor. The food, staff, and atmosphere were everything I’d want from a restaurant! We’ll...

I've passed by this place for many years and just thought of it as the old school "working mans bar" that would have been full of "the good old boys". Boy was I wrong! Once you squeeze yourself in the small parking lot it will be well worth the challenge. We went late on a Saturday and was greeted by a friendly staff member at the cash register that seated us in a booth. The inside defiantly shows its age without having that run down look. Our server Kenny was great to work with. After telling him we were 1st time visitors and needed more time with the menu. Without being abandoned he gave us the perfect amount of time to make our selection. Being a Saturday night which just happens to be steak night I wanted to try the prime rib. To my taste buds disappointment they were out. Late on a Saturday night it's always a crapshoot whether the prime rib is still available or not. After throwing out a few other choices Kenny recommend the meatloaf. OMG it was delish! I asked what time I should get there for the prime rib and the response was after 2 PM. I'll be back for sure. Many tasty sounding items on the menu. Highly recommend. Don't...
