Unlimited food and drinks, mixed with some friends its a partyyy!

I chose the AYCE AND AYCD. $42 bucks for one. Non drinking ayce is 31.

For the all you can eat there is a choice of rice or ramen or both. There is a veggie plate mixed with tofu, enoki mushrooms, napa cabbage, carrots, and black mushrooms. For the meat there is Pork, lamb, and beef. Personally i like lamb and beef. I think i lean towards the beef a bit more.

For the food you choose the choices of broth they offer. I picked 2 broths spicy miso and tonkustu which is a pork flavor broth. You throw in the bowl of veggies til it floats up on top. You dip the meat inside to the broth because it is paper thin. The meat cooks in about 20 seconds, if you leave it any longer it will overcooked and become rubber. Even with a 2 hour limit you be done sooner than you thought.

For the all you can drink there is a house sake which can be served cold or hot or both. There is a small or large size just beware its pretty strong. Beer is also included with this and they had a good choice for the draft such as Sapporo, Kirin, shock top, and one other one. Of course i had both sake and beer.

Since it was a bday celebration i was offered a reverse sake bomb, which majority of the glass is filled with sake then you drop in the shot of beer. The server and my wifey did the reverse sake bomb with me! yay! i wasn't alone.

The service was phenomenal. I didn't feel rush even though we had a 2 hour limit. The server was patient with all my friends questions and thoughts. It was a very good experience for all my friends and for me i'm always a fan of this place food.

At the end a dessert was included for all of us. We all got the green tea ice cream and it just hit the spot. Right before we leave the server brought out a bottle of sweet blueberry lemonade blue alcohol drink for the final cheers. Overall it was a yelplicious...

Heat Shabu IS my favorite Shabu restaurant in Sacramento to the point where I go there at least once or twice a month with my husband or friends. Even during the summer I'll go here. One of the servers knows me and almost has our order down pat. No other shabu place compares.

ATMOSPHERE: place is small, but clean. They open at 500pm so get there a little early cuz once they seat the first group it'll be a while for the next seating. Usual wait is 30min to an hour depending on the day.

They play hip-hop and R&B which take me back to the 90's/2000's which is right up my alley. Brings me back to HS & college.

FOOD: our normal order is as miso, spicy miso or Tonkatsu, 2 large American Kobe, jalapeno poppers, killer shrimp, s*x on the peach. ALL VERY GOOD! and more than enough for two people. Meat & veggies nice quality and fresh. The brooths are flavorful. At the end of the meal you get free matcha ice cream if u still have room for it.

PRICE: we usually spend about $50-80 for 2-3 ppl on a normal night here. We usually don't do the AYCE.

SERVICE: food comes out quickly. The waiters check on the tables regularly and when u order more food they come out promptly. *Marsha is the best. She's always so nice 😊

I love this place. Probably one of my top 3 restaurants...

This place is not worth for $32 per person for buffet. We came there 2 weeks ago and didn't expect to be like this. However, the service was great, sadly the food choices was limited. We came with 10 people and they gave us four selection of soups. We can choose from curry soup, mitsu soup and two other ones I forgot what it is. I thought buffet usually all you can eat abut this restaurant is not. Seafood is not part of the buffet so if you want to order seafood they are separate. Comparing this restaurant to any other restaurants this one is way behind. After we selected our choices of soup we have 3 types of meat -- beef, pork and lamb/goat. After meat, we select our veggies-- mushroom, cabbages, and some other veggies. This is it. I was not surprised because I was looking forward to seafood like all of the pictures shown in this websites. This restaurant cannot compare to Gogi Korean restuarant in Oakland for $25 per person all you can eat including seafood. I would NEVER recommend anyone to eat here for buffet at all!! I'm very disappointed and this website is misleading people because everyone this to be all you can eat including...

In my opinion the best Hot Pot option in the Sacramento area. The All You Can Eat is for sure worth it for $40, as it includes American Kobe Beef which is great! There is also a Wagyu included option for around $90 I believe which is good considering how expensive wagyu is. Many of their appetizers are also a nice accompaniment to the hotpot. Most notably, they have a delicious Kobe Beef Sashimi. I also like the Albacore Sashimi and Grilled Mussels. Their sashimi isn't comparable to high end Japanese restaurants but they are a nice change of pace from hotpot meat. It's worth it to go on Tuesdays for their appetizers. The speed of getting the meats out is pretty impressive, and same for the appetizers. I recommend the BBH and Tonkotsu broths. I only wish they had a more flavorful Sichuan style broth. All their current broth options I think need a dipping sauce to really round out the flavor, which I don't think would be necessarily true with a very flavorful Sichuan broth.
