Yesterday morning, I went through the drive-through and order two asada tacos and an eggs with chorizo burrito. I've ordered and ate those same items at that restaurant in the past and I've never had a problem with the food but today was a different story. After ordering my food in the drive-through, I parked in the parking lot next to the restaurant to eat my food.
After eating all my food, I started making phone calls on my phone in my car. 15 to 20 minutes after eating my food, I started dry heaving. I've never experienced something like this before, so I turned my car on and drove close by into an area for privacy. I got out my car and started throwing up on the floor. I could not stop throwing up until all the food came out. I knew right then and there, the food was bad because I was perfectly fine before eating from this restaurant. I went back to the Los Inmortales Taqueria drive-through. I let the girl know at the window what just had happened and I wanted to speak to a manager. She advised me there was no manager there, but she called over a male worker. I told him the situation and that I was requesting a refund and that I was going to be going to the emergency room because I still did not feel well. He did apologize and he did give me a refund. He said "if it was food poisoning, it would've took two hours later after eating the food to get sick". I asked him are you a Medical doctor and he says "no but we take training classes".
First of all, that's not even true. You very can get sick shortly after eating contaminated food. He also tried to blame me that I was possibly sick prior to eating the food. Which was not true at all. The truth of the matter was their food was contaminated and it got me sick.
I told him this was a very horrible experience and I will never ever eat at their restaurant again. He did apologize again and he did seem genuine about it. I do appreciate that part because he did seem like he wanted to make things better and do the...
Read moreLos Inmortales had been our favorite place in town since 2020. However, the service is unpredictable. Cross contamination is pretty consistent, including but not limited to avocado which I am allergic to. Aside from that, the food is consistent, but you have to roll the dice on whether or not you'll be leaving with everything you ordered. We stopped going because the drive-thru attendant got extremely mad when we asked for chips and salsa after she had already messed up our order. For the record we only order bean and cheese burritos... We had to wait at the window for about 10 minutes after we got our food. When she opened the window, she said "what, what do you want?" She was so mad when we asked for salsa that she basically dumped a bunch of salsa containers into my hand that spilled all over me. She was extremely rude and we felt so disrespected that we never came back. If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on the customer. Especially don't create a hazardous situation. If I touched my eyes, I would not be able to continue driving home. Not to mention I had fresh cuts on my hands from wood-working, so it burned a little. The point is, if you go to Los Inmortales you can expect 50/50 service. After similar scenarios happened over time, we decided we were...
Read moreWhat happens in the kitchen is a Disgrace to the food... ordered 4 fish tacos and Caldo sitemares. The tacos were sprinkled with fish pieces somewhat gray looking soaked with salsa, under bunch of onions and cilantro On that point I turned to google pictures and try to find anything similar with no luck at all. I didn't dare to try them at all, my husband did with 100% of a regret! The soup had catfish, octopus pieces (smaller than an inch), and shrimps. The soup base: water with hot sauce and salt LOADS of it! Oh...! And not to forget about the frozen cauliflower, brocolli and carrot mix straight from the bag. served with more of the chopped onions and cilantro just as the tacos. The waitress came to check back on the tacos as they were pushed away, she offered refund assuming they were to spicy for me at first. Be prepared they will charge equally for the proportion of the food you had. If only 0 stars...
