All was good until the pick up window where I was met with an obviously higher up employee (uniform difference) that had the WORST scowl on her face and rather rigidly shoved my order out of the window (as it hangs in her hands its swinging back and forth), but i ignore that and still smile, and say thank you, far more polite than she deserved after she just kind of mumbles and turns around with that same scowl. Now, at the base level (or any level for that matter) I can understand a hard day. But we are talking about a member of management here... I personally am a seasoned floor manager at a large grocery store, with frustrations by the pound (see what I did there, by the pound, groceries, meats, produce, oh nevermind), but that doesn't mean the frustration is the next patrons fault, so why take it out on them, risking that retention? I don't know why she was having a bad day, but I do know customer service. Very well actually. And that was not an example I would condone or practice. Read moreCurrent update. My mother and I placed an app order tonight and she went to pick it up. Sounds easy enough right. Hit the button I have arrived and the phone said it wasn't there and show the staff the order number and everything would be fine. Well it wasn't. My mom went to the counter to show them and they brushed her off told her they couldn't pull it up. Then when we were able to push I have arrived. The staff started the order. Well again things went down hill. They tell my mom they don't have anything for the burger she wants (the new bacon burger) they don't offer her anything to replace it now grant you it's a $7 freaking burger they didn't even offer a cheeseburger. So mom tells them to cancel the order she had, had enough. And guess what they didn't even cancel the order told her she had to. Nowhere in the app does it say cancel an order after it's already been paid and placed. So they made money tonight. Or so they think I will get her...
