Went there to celebrate a special occasion for my mother and we had called before arriving asking if they could make a certain drink and were told yes. Upon arriving the establishment was dark and had a bit of an uncomfortable feeling. We went in anyways and sat down the bartender was busy chatting away with her friends at the other end of the bar as we waited. After calling the bartender over she informs us she doesn't even know what the drink is and wasn't really interested in finding out as her friends were still on the other end of the bar waiting on her. So we ordered a few shots and margaritas. The margaritas were great she did an excellent job with that. I guess you have to be a regular to know not to buy the beer on tap since it is over temperature and the head on every beer she served was about 2 ¹/² inches of foam and that was after pouring out a whole glass of foam. I watched as some of what looked like regular drinking about a 18 pack by himself. Afterwords he was walking belligerent and they still served him more. There were people at the bar trying to get new people to buy them beer and those people did not look happy. Inside is very dark and Un inviting. Someone asked for a soda and I seen the bartender grab a personal bottle of soda that was opened and serve it to the customer then she proceeded to drink from the same bottle. If I could see John taffer in this establishment he would have been so mad and discussed but how dirty the bar counter was and how the place was being ran. The only part of this experience that was really to talk about was how cheap the...
Read moreThis place is the bomb. Outside its in a small street mall, inside its clean but nothing fancy. Just a good 'ol neighborhood bar. The chicken fried chicken is delicious, whole breast deep fried and crispy with perfect seasoning, topped with white creamy gravy with cubed crisp potatoe chuncks, toast and eggs. Im not an egg eater but someone at the table will gobble those down. They have other dishes if you prefer hot cakes n waffles or fr. toast. Plenty variety and worth a look. Nice people! Not alot of tables but they open at 10 and early has never...
Read moreI really enjoy going to Swiss Buda on Saturday mornings for breakfast. I usually get the same thing Chicken and waffles. I find it very tasty. I know there's plenty of variety on the menu but I stick with the chicken and waffles because I never make this combination at home together for breakfast. I also enjoy going over to the bar. I usually get pineapple juice with Grand Marnier. For $20 breakfast with the drink it's a great start to...
