I just purchased food here and did a pick up order. I’ve heard good things from friends and family since they have celiac disease and stated they were good about food allergies. Well I got home and consumed what was thought to be the gluten free pasta with my add ons that I added to the order. Long story short they forgot my add ons and the regular pasta order had my add ons so I consumed the wrong pasta and now I will be sick. What people don’t know is that people react differently to consuming wheat/gluten. My throat feels like it’s closing and also with celiac it attacks the small intestine and damages the lining which creates a domino effect of GI issues for me. It takes anywhere from 6 to 18 months for the lining to fully heal from ANY gluten/wheat exposure. I’m seriously so frustrated and disappointed that NONE of my food was labeled and my order clearly indicated my food allergies. I will not be eating here ever again. If you have any sort of food allergies I’d check with the staff MULTIPLE times to ensure that you don’t get sick. I added a photo for reference.

Came across this place on vacation last weekend and what a gem. Outside seating and the waitresses were so nice. The owner is a great guy and really knows how to run a great place. The food here is exceptional. We started with fried pickles which were the best I ever had they were so crunchy and seasoned great. I had the fish and chips which came with coleslaw which was made different than I'm used to but man was it good..had mustard seeds in it and I could have eaten a gallon of it. The fries were so crunchy and so wasn't the fish. The fish was not doughy at all and huge portions. My fiancƩ had the salmon with rice and vegetables, it was so good and flavorful and cooked to perfection. We also got two hamburg patties for our two dogs and they loved them and gobbled them right up. I will definitely be coming back here . Worth the trip

We came here late at night after a bad restaurant experience elsewhere. Both my husband and I were tired and hungry, so we ordered some comfort food. He got a chicken quesadilla and I got the tomato artichoke bisque. We also got the mozzarella sticks, and I was delighted to find that they were battered! We are traveling right now, and where we are from in southern NH and MA, we only ever see breaded mozzarella sticks. Battered is so much tastier! It did seem like it took quite a while for our food to get come, but we did get there about an hour before they closed and the waitress mentioned that they were about to switch to the late night menu, so that could be why.

I went to Twiggs a few days ago and I was very unimpressed by the service. The usual things like asking about how our order was, was as expected (answer to how the food was it was average but nothing wrong with it) but the worst thing about the experience is how unwelcomed we were made to feel. We did not rush out especially as half of our table had leftover food but in addition to that a few staff members came over on more than one occasion to not so subtly try and rush us to leave! Keep in mind we were a party of 4 and not all of us had yet finished. There were also plenty of tables so it was not because they needed the space. I noticed one table where 2 people were sat down looking over at us a lot and a 3rd person who was standing was casually talking to this table while they all kept glancing over at us frequently. Imagine my surprise when the standing person comes over and makes a clear (poorly masked with feigned politeness and a pushy 'hope you enjoyed' [now hurry along] setance) attempt to get us to leave! Yes the person who approached us (and was giving unfriendly glances along with some of their evidently more welcomed guests) was in fact a member of staff probably high ranking with all the time he took to stand around and chat to that table. We were polite, not loud, demanding, or obstructive in any way, I cannot for the life of me think of why the atmosphere was so unwelcoming. Well I have a thought or two but I shudder to think it could be anything to do with the individuals in our dining party. Whatever the case may be, don't worry, we certainly won't be coming back or recommending this establishment to...

First time ever eating at Twiggs was a few weeks ago. I brought my daughter in for her birthday lunch. Place was empty except for one other cpl sitting in back of us in a booth. Server was "ok". Slow getting over to us to get our drink orders and see if we wanted an appetizer (again only ONE cpl behind us in the whole place) we finally place our whole order at once cause we weren't sure if she was going to be back to take our meal order so did it all at once. Food took forever and all we ordered was basically fast food i.e. sandwich and chicken strips. My fries were cold, chicken strips burnt, coleslaw had WAY TO MUCH horseradish in it (my mom is a horseradish enthusiast) and she even said it was way too much. Our mozzarella sticks were good. My daughter had to step away from the table for a moment so I asked the waitress if they had or did anything for birthdays, she said yes but never told me what. So my daughter comes back and we are sitting there and the waitress comes over with the birthday sundae, it was I think brownie, ice cream, chocolate, whipped cream and a cherry. It was very good that is till I got the bill........... OMG was I sooooooo not impressed. The charge for that sundae was $9.00!!!!!! I was upset cause she never told me what it was nor gave me time to ask after that and she didn't even give me a chance to decline it. Anywho I don't really know if I'll be back or not. It was one of the worst first time eating at a new restaurant experiences I've ever had. Too bad cause everyone I talked to really hyped...

My husband and I had dinner there a couple of Sunday nights ago. The hostess who seated us didn't know who our server would be so she took the drink order. About ten minutes later a waitress took our order. Ten minutes or so after that another server came to take our order. When our food came out my sweet potato fries (an upgrade item) were cold. My burger was missing the bacon and my husbands chicken sandwich was missing the candied jalepenos. When the waitress finally came to check how everything was we mentioned the missing jalepenos, to which she nonchalantly replied they were out of those. That would have been nice to know ahead of time so he could have chose something else. We then mentioned the bacon missing from my burger. She said she would check with the chef. She came back and said that there was NOT supposed to be bacon on the burger, according to the chef. I said oh my mistake, however I checked their website and it clearly states that there IS bacon on the burger I ordered. We never even bother to mention the cold fries as new would have come out when we were finished eating. After we finished, we mentioned as an FYI that the burger did in fact come with bacon as per their website menu. The waitress said she had also saw it on the menu, so she spoke with her manager and gave us a whopping 15% off my burger only, which saved me the price of the upgraded fries! So after the discount, before tip with no alcohol, the bill was $37 and change for two mediocre sandwiches/burgers. All in all the experience was terrible. I...
