China Bowl — Restaurant in Saint Cloud

Not going back to this location. When I ordered I have dietary restrictions, I am not allowed broccoli or rice. I ordered the Shrimp w/mixed vegetables asked for no broccoli and rice on the side. Now i can only eat around 5 to 6 ounces each meal due to recent surgery. So I ordered the small portion. Once I was done ordering I got a call back and they lady stated that her manager said their will be a $1.00 charge to put the rice separate. Now not only am I not going to eat the entire meal, and they dont put extra of any other vegetable to take place of the broccoli, but now i have to pay more just to put rice separated. Common sense question is if they offer the selection with rice separated for the large portion, why would they not do it for smaller portions especially if it is due to dietary restrictions? This place already charges way more for the same portions i get in other restaurants, and it just doesn't make sense. Its not like they cook the product with the rice, and I am not going to even eat the rice, i was gonna give it to family to have. Its the dumbest, most ridiculous thing I ever heard. Just because its a small it has to be served w rice. Really??? I guess if you come here you better hope that you dont have special dietary guidelines as they wont honor it and they will charge you more for something so ridiculous. Never again. And that was the first time I ordered from them. So they didnt gain a customer....

Horrible service. They lie to sell you more food. Was told meals did not come with rice. I asked that’s weird it always does. Girl said no they don’t. So I ordered two rices with three dinners.

Wife goes to pick it up gets home we have 5 rices.

Called them back owner says meals come with rice you order more. No I didn’t. I was forced to order rice because it “didn’t come with rice”.

After him talking it over for 15 min with his employee he says. Ok bring back the rice and we will refund.

Bring the rice back!!!!!! They screw up so In order to get my $10 refund I have to drive another 15 min there and 15 min back while my food gets cold!!!!

This is their idea of customer service.

I ordered here from the past two days the food is so good like my daughter loves it an she’s a picky eater the Gentlemen Gentlemen that delivered the food he was really nice too I thought this was gonna be my new place but today I tried to order and this lady answered the way she was talking was so unprofessional And it seems like the price was more than it was before. Wish the original person I ordered from answer the phone he was so nice.Why would you have someone like that answering the phone like this lady sounds like she’s on drugs can’t even talk right.
