Went to Red bar on Sunday for a jukebox bingo event that was taking place and we had an incredible time on Saturday and because we do the best we can to follow different jukebox bingo events it gives us the opportunity to visit many different bar and grills so I am happy we had the chance to visit Red bar because the staff was very friendly and the entire crowd of the bar was in a great mood singing along with all the songs although I do wish there was more seating available and I believe there was because I noticed an upstairs but there was a velvet rope blocking it off and if you know anything about velvet ropes it's that you must never cross them lol but what really won me over aside from the great people was the food now I only had a chance to try one dish me and my girlfriend shared the elote sprouts which is which is basically fried Brussels sprouts one of our favorite foods topped with elote one of our other favorite foods so needless to say it was a win-win situation and we definitely made the right choice but the drinks can get to rather expensive my girl ordered a crown apple with cranberry and pineapple juice and it came out to 10 dollars and fifty cents which is fine in the busier parts of the city but at a smaller establishment I expect smaller prices although overall I would definitely visit this place again just for the food because after looking through the menu they just have too many items I need to try so I look forward to my next visit and recommend anybody in the area to check out Redbar for good music a good crowd and most of all...
Read moreI love this bar!! The people are great, and the atmosphere is perfect. Carrie is wonderful, and really takes pride in her establishment. I've been going in there a lot as of late, my friend Laurence recommended me to go in there on Saturday nights. It was a Saturday night that I saw him. A bearded, statuesque bartender right up my alley. They simply called him... Fish. I was timid at first, but he made me feel comfortable, in a bar of people I didn't know. He even offered some of the most stimulating conversation I've had in years. It almost made me forget the heartbreak that brought me to that bar in the first place. His eyes were gentle, his hands rough. But although he had a large crowd of people waiting to be served, he made me feel like I was the only one there. I forgot about pain, I forgot about hate, I forgot how cruel the world can be... when I was with him that night, all I could remember was how my heart felt. Like a young boy, experiencing his first time. Great place to go for the game, and the food is out of this world. I recommend it to anybody...
Read moreSaw Redbar was on the OnMilwaukee list of bars offering shuttles to the Brewers games. Before going we checked their Facebook to see if it was accurate, and there was a post from April 7th saying they apologized for the bus breaking down etc. Called at 11am day of the game (April 27th) to make sure they still were offering shuttles and they confirmed they were. We get there about two hours before the game and confirmed again they would be offering the shuttle. Order several drinks over the next hour including two drinks to-go on the bus. It's now one hour until game time and an employee makes an announcement that the bus is broken down and they won't be offering the shuttle. If their bus had known mechanical issues they should have ensured it was working well before one hour before game time. They are either shady or dumb either way I recommend...
