Johnny's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Saint Helens

Let me start off this way: I hate to give bad reviews. But this one, unfortunately, is very well deserved. My fiance and I have been here 4 times over the last year. The first time going was good. Decent food, decent prices. But every time since then, there have been some major issues, from over charging an order (that they messed up to begin with), to completely forgetting our order. The most recent time going, we got a beer each and each got a sandwich/burger. Having been a server/bartender myself, I understand when things are busy and it may take some time to get an order ready. But after over an hour, I finally went in and asked about our order, only to get a blank stare in return. They asked if I "was sure" I ordered, when I confirmed I had, they said the "fan must've blown the ticket off the wheel". That is by far the worst excuse I have ever heard for why they forgot our order. Just be straight up and tell me you forgot. Needless to say, I settled up right then and walked right out.

This place could be really cool, but whoever that girl is bartending needs to be trained properly, or maybe not have just one person working both the kitchen...

Bar and grill nestled in a quiet neighborhood. definitely a locals watering hole but the service by the gentleman (both visits) tending was stellar. Mushroom burger and the Patty melt were rich in flavor and I hear the Belt Buster is the way to go for those with large appetites!. 2 pool tables, some gaming slots, and Keno available for those wanting to try they're luck. There was also a fenced outdoor patio, but not sure if that's more a smoking area or outside dining section. Wished I could stay around for beers and billiards, but I'm only in town for a few days on business and just cruised...

This is the only bar I would really ever consider to be my regular spot. When I lived in Oregon you could find me in the woods, at the river or at Pour House in my spare time.

I've shot alot of pool here, had alot of drinks and alot of laughs. The staff, Annie, Heather and Carston specifically, are awesome people that I always look forward to seeing.

Annie and Heather are fantastic bartenders, they've never messed up any of my drinks and have always made sure they get to me quickly, no matter how busy it is.

Carston is a top notch cook, even when they get slammed. 10/10 best bar cook...
