Papa Tirozzi Bakery & Pizza — Restaurant in Saint Johnsbury

We visited about 2 weeks ago. The lack of stars comes down to service and not the quality of food. The food was hot, the beer was cold, and they were generous with the portions. However, I was given my partners side that he paid extra for, and they forgot the side of fries that should have come with my meal. We told the waitress, and after we were made to feel guilty for saying something, she was quick to get the side that I had ordered, but we never received the crab rangoon app that we paid for. We also had to clean the table before sitting as there were no clean tables available. I'm hoping this is all because they've recently relocated, and everyone is short staffed. Got food from here all the time in the past. After tonight, I won't be ordering from them again. We got 2 orders of teriyaki bone in wings. Tried them a while ago, and they were great - crispy, and the sauce was good. This time, we didn't even want to eat them - they tasted way too salty, and we picked off the soft slimy, skin - the crunchy bits on the bigger wings just tasted like stale salt. Way worse than frozen, made to reheat in the oven wings. We threw away most of them. And the pizza wasn't good tonight. It just tasted off - flat, bland, cheese didn't have any flavor. We just want to thank everyone at Papa Tirozzi. We had never been to St Johnsbury and googled it as we wanted to drive up for the eclipse. We saw the article about Papa Tirozzi and decided that's where we should go. Even though we arrived 3 hours later than planned because of the heavy traffic we were still able to find a decent parking place. We immediately got in line to order a cheese, peppers and onion pizza. It was a 2 hour wait but definitely well worth it.
