1st off I have never left a bad review in my life but this was hands down the worst dining experience of our lives..So my wife and I stopped to Dine - In at the Lake Ave Long John's where we have went for 25+ years. The last few times the food had went down hill so tonight we decided to go in and eat thinking maybe if we get it fresh it will be like old times. The younger employee with glasses took our order and it was kind of ruff but no biggie. Young kid maybe he's new so I gave the benefit of the doubt. 1 set of customers was sitting eating and that was it in the lobby. My wife and I went and had a seat patiently waiting on our food. The Manager was a lady and I believe the young man that took our order was her son. They both kept chatting it up with the guy behind us who was ordering. He waited at the counter as all 3 employees stood and visited with him until he rec'd his food. He then left. The lady MANAGER then very rudely announced she is getting off on time at 9pm because she needs sleep for her next job at Starbucks at 2am to open. I knew what she was doing pretty much saying everybody needs to go so they can close. We still hadn't rec'd our order we had waited on for 20min so far. We didn't want to keep them late so as the young man who took our order originally was sweeping the lobby area walked by I stopped him. I said " Hey buddy since you guy are closing we will just take our order to go." He Stated " OK" then went back continued chatting and long story short they never made our order AT AlL.. I wanted a full refund and just wanted to leave. The lady manager was very incompetent and didn't know how to refund our money.. The employee kept mouthing to me that the order wasn't on the screen so not his fault (INSTEAD OF APOLOGIZING).He continued to mouth the Manager or Mom when told to get in the back because he wouldn't apologize. His mouth kept running until I lost my cool for the 1st time in my 47yrs of life at a fast food employee.( Not Proud of that).. Manager finally got more serious when I mentioned I'm done talking and I'm doing a review of my TERRIBLE experience. They had 1 more employee and he just laughed and went to the back The MANAGER and her SON/Employee should be FIRED Immediately. My wife and I run a food business and realize mistakes can happen but this was beyond bad. I had to give a 1 star review because that was the lowest option offered. We would love to speak to someone from corporate office please. I would them to watch the camera. I seriously thought I may be on a hidden camera show because it was that bad. I HIGHLY Recommend taking your business elsewhere. These 3 employees are very UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL and iNCOMPETENT..Whoever pays them is getting stolen from due to them just not...
Read moreLousy service... Waited in line for quite some time... Had ordered the Lobster Bites Family Pack... Drove home unpacked the food and there were NO Lobster Bites. I called the restaurant and the girl who answered had me to hold after I told her about the missing items, she came back on the line and said they were in a paper sack. I told her no the only paper sack held the Green Beans and the Cole Slaw. She said hold on and then hung up on me. I called back and let it ring for quite some time and they wouldn't answer. My husband took the receipt, drove back to the restaurant, got up to the window, told them why he was there, they went and got their so called Supervisor and he basically called my husband a liar and said he had three employees who swear they gave them to us. We will never purchase anything from there again! And I will be letting everyone know how they do business. If you choose to patronize them make sure you check your order before leaving the window. Read moreThe manager that was on shift tonight was extremely rude and should not be allowed to be in customer service… I placed an online order and I paid, well the website said something was wrong and payment didn’t go thru, but I looked at my account and the payment was took out well I asked to speak to the manager and I showed her what happened and she was extremely rude and told me she wouldn’t help me and there was nothing she could do or would do, she instantly got extremely hateful and disrespectful. I feel like, if you don’t like working fast food then you shouldn’t work there if it wasn’t for the customers they wouldn’t even be in business and she definitely would not have a job, this is 2nd time this location has been like this towards me I won’t be back, hopefully I’ll have better luck at the other location because I love long John silvers but the staff need to not be so...
