Typically I go to a place three times before writing a review to not give a knee jerk reaction, so here are my thoughts:

I've visited once right after they opened, and about once a month since then.

The good: the staff, including the owner, are all incredibly friendly folks who make the experience. I've had great discussions with them all and they are ready to pour you a beer with a smile.

The bad: this might be a tad unfair but the taproom does not have a great vibe. The strip mall location is more suitable to a non-food based business and the space is very small, but not in a cozy sense. The aesthetic is somewhat sterile and isn't overly inviting. Some have fairly complained about the massive TV, it's a distraction if you're not there for a game, and is literally the only thing that draws any attention on the wall.

The ugly: this hurts to write because I want this business to succeed but the beer is just not good, and what's worse is that it's inconsistent. I've had the hazy IPA several times, once it was a very drinkable IPA, once it was buttery (not a good flavor in a beer), once it had a very diluted taste. I've had other beers there and the best way I can describe them is that the flavors of the listed beer styles are there, but not fully enough. It tastes very close to homebrew, which given the price and the competition just up the road, is a problem.

I do plan to come back in a few months to see if the beer has improved. It seems like the issues stem from scaling up recipes inappropriately, which can be fixed. I'll update my review if the beer is improved. If they aren't, I think this place will have a...

First visit today. Easy parking since it's in a strip mall, tucked right in the corner. I like that the entire front "wall" is floor to ceiling windows, lots of natural light! Just a little place, a bar of seating along the exterior "wall" and bar seating along the bar, then there are four regular height tables in the middle. While I was there there were up to 10 of us in there, so several conversations but it wasn't too loud. I wasn't watching it, there's a tv on the wall w a large Simpsons quote next to it, so I'm assuming it was a season of the show being streamed. There is one bathroom in the back, so you get a look at the brew house as you pass down the hall. I liked all the Halloween decorations, not too over the top but festive. There were four beers on tap so I ordered a flight of them all. I started w the Hawk Hefeweizen, flavor was a pretty standard light-esque beer. Next I had the Home Run Haze, next was the Oktoberfest, last was the Good Rats dry Irish Stout. This one was hands down my favorite. I appreciated that the beers were all pretty low ABV, the highest was a reasonable 7.9%. The friendly owner was the beertender. Confirmed my thought when I asked where the name came from, is it your name? There was a few snacks available for purchase. I'll keep my eye on their website to see when new beers are tapped. I appreciate that it lists: On Tap, Fermenting & what's...

I'm giving 1 star so someone notices and fixes. I would given 5 stars until it came to payment.

The gal behind the bar on 9/13/25 was delightful. A gem. However my wife gave her 10 for our first round and with a bogo and that was right. Later she joked that we hadn't closed our tab.... Its CASH....there's no tab! I ordered my 2nd and that was about 8 to 10 more......but she's claiming we didn't pay the first 10? When I challenged her on this she quickly went from delightful to frighting.

I never got the full story. But I think this place doesn't take cash. she took 10 cash and didn't credit it to our tab. And expected me to pay an other 20 for our first and 2nd round (1 beer). Then she melted down about refunding but she didn't have our card because we paid CASH. How could she refund anything?!

She needed to say when we whipped out our 10 that "WE DON'T TAKE CASH". Instead she was taking cash and pay it for it with her own credit card and then just pocketing the cash. And then she was bopping around so much she wasn't keeping track of who was paying what.

I will NEVER knowingly short any business especially a small business. But she because of her "game" tried to short us 10. She didn't do it on purpose but she still did it.

Fix this problem!!! She was great but she needs to play by...

A brand new brewery! I went on 10/15, and was told that they opened 9/30. They have a good core of 4 beers on tap already; a cream ale, Oktoberfest, stout and blonde. According to the signs, they are looking to expand their tap list with an IPA, a hazy and a hefeweizen in the newr future. The staff was awesome, the beer tender was friendly and charismatic. The taproom itself is quaint, even if a bit crowded. But they did have a tv with the Vikings game on! There is a shelf unit with several games and another with their merch. Merch was shirts and baseball caps and beanies. The beer was decent and I am excited to go back once they work the kinks out of their process and introduce more beer styles!
