My family and I tried Bormio on a Friday evening, and weren’t aware that the restaurant had recently rebranded. From start to finish, it was a great experience! The seasonal cocktails menu was quite varied, and included some really unique options. At our table, we got one rosemary-infused tequila drink, one that was a cardamom gin cocktail, a one peach fizz mocktail. Thumbs up from everyone on these. We tried the spinach dumplings and alpine dip as appetizers, which were both delicious. The dip was served with a warm pretzel that was clearly made fresh in-house. The frisee salad included some shredded mint, which was a nice flavor to add to the mix that worked well with the dried cherries and hazelnuts. The entree we tried was a rolled squash pasta with a mushroom sauce - absolutely outstanding. Service was friendly, perfectly paced for a nice relaxing meal. Our server gave some great recommendations, particularly on the cocktails (we were having a hard time choosing). Solid experience - we will most definitely return!

Another solid review for Megan & Bormio. I made a reservation day in advance for Friday night date-dinner. Reading positive reviews was encouraging, while seeing negative reviews about overpriced drinks - made me curious. After all, my favorite drink is Campari. My wife enjoyed tequila mixer, while I chose Italian Chardonnay special - I was really surprised how well it was pairing with mousse - must-try cheese & truffle appetizer. Vibe of the place transitions you to comfy small eatery in Europe, where you enjoy great meal and your date. Short ribs were perfectly cooked. And, as their dessert menu suggested, mountain air left some space for dessert…

Following dinner we went to check this place out. Neat basement space, nice atmosphere and decor. Would have liked some music or something to break the silence in the background though. Waitress was friendly and professional. Unfortunately we did not enjoy any of the drinks we tried. Perhaps our taste buds were off but the cocktails were not tasty. Very boozy and not appetizing. Which was disappointing considering the cost of the cocktails. Coffee cocktail did not even taste like coffee and was extremely bitter. Tiramisu cocktail was so sweet it was hard to drink. A flight of the herb drinks was just awful, like bad tea flavors.

Place is aesthetically pleasing. Drinks overpriced and meh. Food fair to mid of what we got. Waited an hour and half and left as we never got our entree. We allowed the table next to us who ordered same thing to have it. Main reason they ordered the same as they handed you a menu and when you go to order they advise you they have two things on the already extremely limited menu and nothing that you actually want. We were really looking forward to this place but we won’t be going back. They did take care of our drinks but our waitress forgot my drink and took 20 min just to get a beer. Don’t recommend a it is an...
