I'd like to express my extreme dissatisfaction over our visit to your restaurant on 14 Feb 2020. We arrived at 6:45 for our 7:00 pm reservations (made weeks prior) and waited until 7:15 to be seated. No problem. We ordered drinks, appetizers and salads and placed our entree order when our drinks were served. The restaurant was out of bread and had to wait over 40 minutes to receive some. It took more than an hour to get our entrees. The plates were messy with sauce splattered around the rims and, while my pasta was hot, it was overcooked and soft and my sausage was cold. I overheard the hostess say that over 30 call-in takeout orders were clogging the kitchen. This negated the purpose of making reservations. That is not fair since my reservations were made weeks ago and were spoiled by the many takeout orders that inundated the kitchen. Our server was inattentive and failed to give my wife a red carnation that were being presented to ALL other female diners. It made her feel like she didn't count! It was not in any way a pleasant dining experience and went beyond a crowded restaurant on a popular 'dining out' holiday due to the take out orders from people who did NOT make reservations. My wife and I will have to find another favorite restaurant to frequent. I emailed this note to Erio's the next day rather than write a bad review. They reciprocated and I was offered a gift certificate by Angela Creach. The next week the country shut down due to Covid. Over the past three weeks I made multiple attempts to contact Erio's and Angela Creach (4 emails and 2 phone calls) to find out if their offer was still good. I am sorry to say that NO ONE had the decency to respond to my communications. I am through with Erio's and would NOT recommend this...
Read moreIt is with heavy heart that I even feel like I need to write a negative review. Me and my family have been going to Erio's for so many years. We took the drive out to St. Peters to have a late lunch on Saturday. And it was terrible. Our server was not friendly, he acted like he wanted to be anywhere but there. After waiting a while for him to come take our drink order, we went ahead and ordered our food at the same time he showed up for our drink order. We ordered cheese bread as an appetizer and he said he would bring it out first and then the rest of the food. We received our bread and then proceeded to wait over 50 minutes for our pizza. We watched people walk in after us, eat, and leave before we got our pizza. The pizza was not good. They definitely are doing something different. It was bland, tasteless, and the dough was raw. We couldn't even eat it ( it felt like they rushed it after we inquired where our pizza was) We would have loved to say something when we were there, but we never saw our waiter. Another lady brought refills, what appeared to be a manager cleared our table. We had to ask someone else for our check. My sister paid cash, told the lady that she didn't need change, and she left her tip on the table. As we were getting up to leave, our server finally appeared in time to get the money from the other server and make a comment that "tipping is customary". He would have know his tip was on the table if he ever actually took the time to "wait" on us. And someone needs to tell that gentleman that tipping isn't customary on terrible service. If he would like to make money, then simply...

Here's a recap of my visit: #1, SERVICE exceeded my expectations. I was blown away by the attention given to me by Diana and the overall service of the whole wait staff. #2 FOOD was exceptional. I had spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. I asked for the arrabbiata sauce instead of the traditional red sauce. It was a wise choice, if I may say so myself. The sauce was garlicky and spicy to my liking; it was light and aromatic; it was excellent. The meats were tender and flavorful, and my preference was the sausage over the meatball. I also substituted the dinner salad, which came with the meal, for the Sicilian salad (with anchovies). It was big enough for two people and another good decision on my part. Diana gave me a piece of tiramisu for being a first-time diner. I was overwhelmed with how much she went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience dining at their restaurant. Lastly, #3 PRICES were reasonable. While prices are relatively dependent upon everyone's budget and what we're used to paying to eat out, I considered $15 for an entrée and a $2.95 upcharge for the salad to be inexpensive, considering the size.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Erio's and have been sharing my experience with my family and friends. If you're looking for some fantastic Italian food in a non-pretentious atmosphere, I hope you get a chance to dine...
