Green China — Restaurant in Saint Peters

I was excited to find a local shop that delivers, and actually had a 4.3 rating on google.

All things aside, the initial impression was positive. Fast delivery, hot food, large portions. About 4 or 5 bites in our meal ($27 w/ delivery), my fiancé found a large hair deeply mixed in with the chicken, matching neither of our heads. Food went straight in the trash. I promptly got on the phone, and asked what could be done for the food, refund right, obviously we didn't want any more of it tonight, and it was our one night that we get home from work to relax and not go out and do anything. Well, anyways, I'm typing this still in the heat of things and I'm rambling. Bottom line is we were told that if we wanted a discount, we had to deliver it up there for them to see it... at this point I'm not happy. I just paid an EXTRA $6 (delivery and tip) for food to be delivered... that we barely got to eat any of, and now to get the money back we are owed (at least in my consumer eyes, maybe I'm wrong) I have to make the trip we paid to not make just to get the money back we are owed. Do not trust the fact that their website says that they have all sorts of accolades. The most recent review was from 2011. Maybe it was a one off... but I feel like if it was, they would have done what needed to be done to correct it. Obviously won't be...

If I could give less then 1 star I absolutely would. I ordered shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoons for lunch by 330 I was sick as a dog coming out of both ends this was the only thing I ate. I had to leave work because of how sick I was. Food poisoning to say the absolute least. I called and spoke to the owner the next day just giving him a heads up that maybe the shrimp might have been bad. He immediately started arguing with me. Which threw me off. Then a woman in the background started yelling at me as well. The owner stated if I brought the food back I would get refunded so I did. When I arrived at the restaurant he told me he wasn't going to refund me because some food was eaten. I again told him I bought the food for lunch so yea I ate some of it which is how I got sick. He then proceeded to give me the wrong amount back still. By the end of the whole situation he threw the tip jar at me and told me to get out of his restaurant and never come back. That of course goes without saying. My point is. Do not eat here or atleast not the shrimp and if you do and get sick be ready to be asked to bring the food back then get assaulted when you do bring it back as well as get shorted on...

We have been ordering from Green China for years!! However we normally order from the location in Lake Saint Louis and the food is always amazing!!!! This location was a complete disaster! First they didn’t give my fiancé my debit card back he didn’t notice till he was home they did call and let us know it was there but we then noticed they forgot to give us the sauce for the dumplings! So when he went to go get my card they at first wouldn’t give the card to him even though he was just up there paying with it....they did give us the dumpling sauce! But when he got home I realized there was no rice with our garlic beef.... I took a good look over our order and the crab Rangoon was burnt the dumplings were so thick and undercooked and there was a weird black thing in my egg drop soup... I tried calling the store to complain 2 times and couldn’t get through...... I have to say will not ever be going back to that location ever again! Horrible...
