Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Saint Peters

Girlfriend and I went through the drive through, I asked for EXACTLY THIS “#2 With a large Strawberry limeade and Large fry” Lady at the drive through didn’t respond for roughly 20 seconds, fine no biggie there’s a few people in front of us, I’m sure she’s busy, not a problem. Then proceeded to order a second, #2 with no onion, Large Dr. Pepper, large fry” Another 15-20 second wait for a response, not a problem, I understand. I’m told to pull forward, eventually we get to the window, I hand off my card, I’m then handed back what looks like 2 medium drinks. Both are the correct drink. Wrong size. I don’t say anything just to avoid conflict, not a big issue. Then we are handed our food, check the bag, see 2 burgers and 2 large fries. We get home, take out the food, my girlfriend checks one of the burgers and it’s a Single. Awesome, already very annoyed with this situation. We then proceed to eat the food, and find a hair inside the lettuce of my burger. Absolutely disgusted. Here is an image of the hair after pulling it and the lettuce out...

Extremely rude staff. From the person on the stall speaker to the woman on the drive thru speaker. We were sitting in a spot, pushed the button and were greeted with a very rude, “you’re gonna have to go to the drive thru.” Not a sorry, thank you, nothing. When we got to the drive thru, we began our order for a cheeseburger without the toppings. Asked for only cheese and onions. “Well, it’s a cheeseburger so it’s gonna have cheese on it.” Just rude. My wife advised that she was just making sure they understood. Then the lady said again, “well, yeah like I said it’s a cheeseburger, so it’s implied. You don’t have to ask for something that already comes on it.” I’m not sure if this is part of their orientation at this location, but the parking lot was dead at 4pm and Sonic is pretty delicious. So, I would be willing to assume, the mantra here is just get them out of here. Needless to say, we didn’t order anything. We took our business to Culver’s where the customer service was...

Ridiculous... this is THE WORST Sonic location of all time. Last time I came here they didn’t toast the toaster sandwich... which was terrible to get home and find out about. Figured I’d give them another chance, so I Tried to come and grab lunch today on my break. I was the second car in the drive through and there was one car in the ordering stalls. I was told (pretty rudely I should add) that there would be at least a 20 minute wait, 30 minutes for breakfast items. I understand this is a difficult time for everyone and it takes time to prepare food, but this is the world we’ve lived in for over a year and it shouldn’t take an entire lunch break to place an order at a fast food place. I know it’s not the end of the world, but this minor issue has wasted my entire lunch and I will most likely never eat at a sonic again because this is the only thing...
