Used to work here, but quit because a higher up in the franchise (Crystal) talked trash about employees in the open and even intentionally gave one of them an undercooked quarter pounder after they got into an argument over breaks because they weren't being given out in the usual timely matter. She then tried to have him fired after he walked out over this, just for him to get employee of the month not even 2 weeks later. They also fired a manager on the spot for attempting to stand up for him, and even had her marked down as quit instead of terminated. All of this was reported to HR and Chris Giarla (the owner of the franchise) himself, and nothing has been done about any of this. On top of this, there is someone who makes almost $2/hr more than most people there who constantly no-call no-shows and leaves during his break without coming back, and he still has yet to get even a suspension despite allegedly having countless write-ups from multiple managers. Most of the problem lies solely with Crystal to my knowledge. It seemed like the general manager (Tiffany) was pretty content with firing that manager on the spot, but after the fact I did notice some signs of regret before I left. I wouldn't be surprised if Crystal was either manipulating her or threatening her to do some of the things she did. All of the other managers there were always very nice, and even helped me out with getting rides to and from work when I wasn't able to make it in myself. As much as I miss most of my coworkers and managers, watching a higher up in the franchise abuse her power like that and especially having her talk trash about her workers including myself while she was at the front of the store was very unprofessional and unsettling, let alone watching everything else...
Read moreI used to work here. The food is alright Let me tell you about service you know they don’t work with you with your schedule. I told them I needed off like Saturdays off and Sundays and the manager Tiffany told me that this was my schedule when I apply that I could work Saturdays. Unfortunately my schedule change because that’s when I go driving in the morning because I’m trying to get my drivers license. She wasn’t understandable and kept scheduling me for Saturday. So I ended up leaving. When I starting requesting off on the schedule she started talking to me about why do I need Saturdays off and I explain to her I go driving in the morning and I needed Saturdays off but she wasn’t understandable she was saying whatever the schedule is posted that’s what you need to work. The atmosphere was all right. I loved all the rest of the mangers. The only thing I have problem with was the schedule sounds like they not understandable at this location about scheduling people. When you tell them about the day you need off they force you to work that day I kept scheduling Saturday off every time and they kept getting on me about it and then I notified them and told them I couldn’t work Saturdays no more. Then I didn’t come in for Saturday and got wrote up then the next Saturday I chose to quit. This McDonald’s sounds like everyone who was hired was quitting for the same thing . The manger Tiffany wasn’t working with her employee.when she see people talking about her. She gets all but hurt . Remember She has a job to be understandable with her employees and customer. When I was working there I also did have people talking about How I wasn’t doing good and they was talking about me.most of the time Tiffany favors other employees more...
Read moreDisappointing experience. Took my two granddaughts there for lunch who were so excited that the playground was open. The resturant appeared to have enough staff but they seemed to be totally unaware there were customers in the restaurant. Huddeld in back of the counter enjoying their day while an elderly gentleman who was clearly struggling trying to order his meal at the kiosk, which none of the employees seemed to notice or ca. He then stood at the counter thinking that someone would eventually take his order, which never happened,so he left. I placed our orders at the kiosk, however it didnt appear to be working correctly so I also had to stand at the counter until a young girl offered her assistance with the checkout process. When some French fries were missing I once again stood at the counter until I was able to get someone's attention. When he asked how I was doing I replied honestly that I had better experiences. Rather than ask what might be the issue, he simply said, "we are busy". Cudos to this group of young people who are at least willing to work post covid, but work isn't simply showing up for a job. Employers expect their employees to actually do some work while they are on the clock and not just socialize with their coworkers. Sadly, it's not just this establishment that has been challenged with less than satisfying customer service. One can only hope at some point people will wake up and realized having a good work ethic doing a job that used to be considered an entry level job, goes a long way in establishing the type of work habits that can make or break a person's career as a...
