I’ve been a fan of your bagels since you first opened in my boyfriends neighborhood at Round Lake. So I’ve been anticipating this opening in my end of town for a year + ever since the cat was let out of the bag. I wish I could leave a 5/5 but when I tried to go finally having a chance and finally with no line down the street, but you were sold out already and it was 12:40. We have enjoyed this bagel place quite a few times but today something happened that should not have. My husband was using a tap to pay and when he told the girl at the window that he really couldn’t see what he punched in as a tip she said nothing. When we got home we could see that he had tipped $20 for a $15 sandwich. We are senior citizens on a fixed income so that was painful. Petes drive thru is the best thing to happen to my neighborhood… selfishly lol- I stop by several times a week and it never disappoints! Everything on the menu is amazing, but my biggest tip is to ask for your bagel double toasted if you like it a little extra crispy—it’s perfect that way.
