Lassing park is a gem within St Pete’s many beautiful outdoor green spaces. Situated at the edge of the Old Southeast, this waterfront park is the epitome of the neighborhood. Stunning water views to your East and Downtown st Pete north, this is a great place to go to walk your dogs or just enjoy some fresh air. I love sitting on the bench or the sand beaches and watch the world go by. Unlike many of st Pete’s other parks, this one is much less crowded and it’s a great spot to think, meditate, or unwind. The people overall are very friendly as is the whole neighborhood. Come here for a calm, relaxing outing. Do not come here to drink n be rowdy. FYI: besides the current fear abt flesh-eating bacteria in slow-moving water, there are fairly deep clay pits that dogs have been caught in and sadly a few have drown. So keep dogs safe by keeping them shallow if you do let them in the water. (Lived in the area for...
