“ In economics, a market is a composition of systems, institutions, procedures, social relations or infrastructures whereby parties engage in exchange. While parties may exchange goods and services by barter, most markets rely on sellers offering their goods or services (including labour power) to buyers in exchange for money. It can be said that a market is the process by which the prices of goods and services are established. Markets facilitate trade and enable the distribution and allocation of resources in a society. Markets allow any tradeable item to be evaluated and priced. Markets generally supplant gift economies and are often held in place through rules and customs, such as a booth fee, competitive pricing, and source of goods for sale.”
lol. This place is not a market. It’s a Poki Bowl deli that sells T-shirt’s and large bags of gross tortilla chips and that’s about it. It’s unfortunate that I live in a neighborhood that has its own market and I still have to drive to Publix or elsewhere just to get super basic essentials that any other market in the world would normally carry. The guy can’t even sell alcohol or tobacco because he doesn’t have a current license to...
Read moreWhat A Fantastic Place! I've lived here for 35 years and that little store has gone through quite a transformation. It was original originally called Gita food store... they have a great selection of beers and wine, and some general staples like butter and milk Etc. Their Deli has a large variety of different foods. The Poke bowls are " create your own", from an abundance of fresh fish and ingredients and of course are extremely delicious and they sell fresh made sandwiches that are above par. Not to mention the breakfast sandwich, on two choices of bread or a croissant, add avocado, cheese, sprouts, spinach and more and you have one of the healthiest sandwiches in town! Fresh, healthy ingredients, the best I've had in a long time!! The old Southeast Market is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood, and one of the many reasons I enjoy...
Read moreThis place was in a sad state of affairs today, but looking at the reviews seems it's been that way for a while. I placed an online poke bowl order and when I arrived nearly 30 min later it was not prepared. There were 3 employees but none of them seemed to be doing anything. The prep area for the poke bowls was a mess, with random half filled cups of mystery liquids in the prep area. My poke bowl was missing numerous items I ordered, and the fish does not smell fresh. And for some reason it was warm? I had sweet potatoes noodles as one of my bases so maybe they had just been prepared( there was a big bowl of them sitting out so I presume so). The coolers are filled with various beers/wine but unfortunately cannot be purchased as there is no liquor...
