What a find, we have lived in Kenosha over 20 years, passed this place numerous times and never went in. 2 weeks ago was our first visit. We love this little pub. The service is fantastic the young ladies are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. The first time in we had the Irish Egg Rolls, they were so good, I said, I'd eat those as an entree any time. They looked freshly prepared, and so tasty. The entrées we had was the French Onion Steak Sandwich and a special of the day, Braised Short Ribs with Caramelized Pickled Onions. The steak sandwich was cooked perfectly, beef tenderloin with caramelized onions and crispy onion strings on the side. The onion strings were crispy, flakey and not oily like other onion strings we've had. The short rib sandwich was full of flavor the pickled onions added a nice touch to the taste of the sandwich. Today we returned, they had a special appetizer Deep Fried Brussel Sprout Leaves with Chopped Bacon and Balsamic Glaze....it was amazing! Our lunch today was the Nurse Mary only with Grilled Chicken Breast on a Toasted Pretzel Bun, this sandwich was packed with spinach, fresh sliced avocado and it was delicious! The Chicken was juicy and had great flavor. I chose the French Green Beans as my side, they were a nice bright green, cooked to a perfect al dente, seasoned perfectly, they had a nice nutty flavor. Their special of the day was a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, it was amazed allspice! It had a nice spice to it, a little sweetness from the brown sugars, the the vinegar from the pickles added a nice balance to the overall flavor of the sandwich. The sweet crunchy coleslaw added a nice crunch texture and sweetness to the sandwich. We decided on a homemade dessert to finish off the meal, Deep Fried Bread Pudding...OMG! That dessert was one of the best desserts I've ever had! I was homemade bread pudding cut into large cubes, deep fried, tossed in cinnamon sugar topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel sauce. The inside of each cube was marbled with cinnamon, the bread was sweet, tender and OMG crazy good! What a fantastic restaurant! This is definitely our new favorite lunch restaurant! My compliments to the chefs and the kitchen team. The servers complete the team.

We just visited again. Very nice! Here's the update... Southwestern Steak Sandwich was not fit for serving. Something didn't taste right. They remedied that problem very quickly and I received a delicious sanbwuch. They actually have 'Crispy Fries' on the menu. Order them. I snacked on them as I had my 2nd Hacker Pschorr Weisse Excellent ranch dressing. The dessert brownie with ice cream., etc wasn't just etc. The caramel and hot fudge on top of the milky ice cream. Save some room. I've been there twice since the last review. Have you yet? Another update. You need to go here and check out the food. Beef vegetable soup had actual chunks of real meat.  Putting crackers in before the first sip... Huge. mistake. It needs nothing added. Steak salad was great too. The pot roast Sandwich is a must. I was licking the horseradish off my fingers. Holy Moly! UPDATE: Had lunch here with a colleague on 3/25. We had the specials, BBQ chicken flatbread pizza and Rodeo burger. Both were excellent, fries crispy and wonderful service. This is a great place to stop. Great spot! We stopped in for a quick drink and it was delicious. It was made with cherries, that I remember. We looked at the menu and found several items for our next visit, next week.

We stopped here for dinner on our return route home to Illinois and what a great delicious decision that was. Nice menu offers, fair prices, good size portions, and excellent taste/flavors. The tortilla chips with spinach dip, fantastic. My daughter had the grilled salmon she said was cooked just right with a delicious side of green beans, potato soup and salad. I had the turkey avacado burger on a pretzel bun with spinach instead of lettuce, accompanied by perfect sweet potato fries, just wonderful. They put half an avocado on this huge burger, unlike other places that give you a slice or two. For dessert had the pineapple cheesecake which was out of this world. The server's were really friendly and helpful. The day after at work I told my friends how good this place was and there saying "You just found this place now, we all have known about way before and your right, it's great.🤗

We have been longtime customers and I can honestly say the food was better during the height of the pandemic. Now the menu has changed and the quality of the food and service simply isn’t the same. Mind you, we are well aware of how hard it is to survive in this industry, post-pandemic. For this visit we started with bottles beers, asking for glasses. The glasses were loaded with spots and I even noticed the bartender looking them over before she sent them out. I would have had them rewashed or sent out new ones. For food we decided to change things up a bit and ordered their bone-in wings per the recommendation of our server, asking them to be cooked on the more well-done (crispier) side. They were average with not a lot of meat on them, but the combo sauce was good. I ordered a cup of chili with with all the fixings. It came out lukewarm and was ridiculously thick, to the point that I could not finish it. Then we decided to split the southwestern steak wrap, with tater tots as our side. Neither one of us could truly describe the funky taste of the steak and the rest of the wrap was dry with no flavor. The tater tots tasted as though they had been fried in old oil. We each took a bite and pushed our plates away. I have never experienced such a poor meal here. Our server was quite attentive and felt bad about the meal, but it was not their fault and we expressed that to them. The server was kind enough to remove the main meal from our check, even though we did not ask for that. We thanked them kindly, paid and left. Overall, we were disappointed because this has always been one of our go-to restaurants and we fully supported them throughout the pandemic. I was even in by myself a few months ago, sat at the bar and had my usual delicious Wisconsin burger with an old fashioned. We hope to return down the line, but it will...

My first time there as I just moved to the area. I have Celiac Disease so finding a restaurant to eat out at is very limited. I called first and they said yes they have Gluten Free items. So upon my arrival the young lady who sat me at the table, I asked again about Gluten Free and she assured me that they do and their wouldn't be any cross contamination. My waitress (Ashley)was friendly and adorable. I ordered my drink, and received it very quickly. Since I was alone and had a table not far from the kitchen doors and the bar, it wasn't very hard to notice what the staff was doing. The wait staff including the Bartender all worked together as a team to make sure all the customers were served quickly. I saw other staff members helping others carry out customers orders. When it was time to order my dinner(I had the tenderloin), Ashley asked if I would like the salad as the soup was not gluten free, she recommended I try the lime and cilantro dressing. I told her I didn't like either, she said she didn't either but this was delicious. She brought me out a little sample to try and it was fabulous. I usually only eat 1/4 of my salad but this was so good that I almost ate the whole thing. My steak was done to perfection (med. rare). I definitely will be back alot. Kudos to Ashley and all the friendly staff. In addition, after each menu, ketchup, and mustard bottles etc.. were used they sprayed and wiped down all of them with a disinfected....
