Lucky Chen — Restaurant in Paddock Lake

Let me just say we LOVE lucky Chen. We go often usually to pick up & take home but occasionally to eat in. 100% would recommend this place & their eggrolls. The only reason I'm rating it 2 stars is for the younger girls behind the counter. Unfortunately there's no name tags. We dined in a few nights ago & there was 2 girls working behind the counter and a few people in the restaurant. If you go to lucky Chen you know theres only 2 booths & 2 tables (a six top & a 2 top) we say at the 2 top which isn't very roomie. As people left the booths they didn't bother to get up & whip them down. The worst part was as we're sitting there eating they're talking so loud w/no music playing & then they started to make gagging and pucking noises. We're trying to eat. I was already not feeling well & left sick to my stomach. Will never eat in house again if those girls...

Last night, I had a wonderful dining experience at this local Chinese restaurant. The meal was a delightful exploration of familiar favorites and new discoveries. Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner The star of the show was definitely the chicken broccoli. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy with a crispy exterior. The broccoli was cooked to a crisp-tender perfection, retaining its vibrant green color and a slight bite. The sauce was the real champion, though. It was our first time trying this place. We were left feeling disappointed. We had dumplings the dough was very thick. We also had general tso's chicken which we ordered extra spicy. It was very sweet no spice at all. We also had beef and broccoli. I didn't try it my wife said it was pretty good. We also ordered chicken fried rice which was a little bland. We tried it because it was on our way home. We thought we would be able to dine in but it was only carry out. I realize that there aren't a lot of options in the area for this type of cuisine so if you're in Salem I guess this has to be your go to for...
