Hansen’s Ice Cream Parlor - Wilmot — Restaurant in Salem Lakes

Gee whiz, finally leaving a shining review since I took my family here last July after stumbling onto this place on Google maps shortly before taking my wife out on our 9th anniversary to The Wilmot Stage Stop.

Superior quality and exceptional tasting ice cream at still reasonable prices in an old setting bolstered by friendly service as well. We love the ice cream here and will most likely be back sometime after my stepdaughter returns from college at the end of this month.

We were in Antioch at the time I decided to take my family here which from our house in Beach Park is more than a 20-mile haul. I've always strived to support local and would gladly come back here, that ice cream was delicious!

Loved our visit. We went for Mother's Day, and we got in at a good time as right after we got in they began to get quite a bit of traffic. We ordered entirely too much ice cream, but really enjoyed it all. Hansen's also has my favorite ice cream flavor, blue moon, which you can not find everywhere, so that always makes me happy when I go to an ice cream parlor. The location was very nice, clean and staff was friendly, and had a few options for seating indoors and outside as well. It was a first time visit for most of us, but we all agreed that we need to make some more trips back. This is a mom and Pop ice cream shop in the making

As you walk in, you’ll get a strong aroma of the delicious vanilla waffles that are being made in the shop. They offer popcorn and also candy at the end and also includes a nice seating area for a small group and they also have outdoor seating was a little bit of a drive for us but definitely worth it very rich flavors. I got the upside down filled Oreo. my kids, God Different flavors of the day but we had to make sure we get one of the waffle cones.

I’m excited to come back and try a different flavor. I was looking at the popcorn, but didn’t get one this time.
