Food is okay but I had to leave a review based on my experience with Brandon. He was very nice on the phone but when I got to the restaurant, his behavior really changed and made me never want to come back to ANY Applebees ever again. Ordered on the phone to pick up. When I do this, I don’t usually ever tip because there is no service aside from cashing me out. But, after I was greeted, at the door mind you, and gave Brandon 2 $20 bills for my $31 order, I was asked, “Need the change back?” I was confused for a second but responded affirmatively. This sent Brandon into a mini tantrum-like fit. After that there was nothing nice about this person. Yelled my name across the restaurant from the bar holding the bag of food up, commanding me to walk over there. Which I did, it’s fine, this guy wants to play his little games at his workplace of all places, fine. When I reach for my change, he counts every single bill and every single coin back, out of the till, as slow as he possibly can. Remember this guys does this for a job, he’s not this slow. But anyway, I’m a good, patient man, so I wait. Arm stretched out, as he hands me my change, I called him out on his behavior, and called him an asshole. Maybe he’s the nicest guy in the world and saves orphans from disasters on his weekend, but in our interaction, he was only an asshole. And Brandon if you’re reading this, I apologize for that. However, you need to understand that your actions have consequences and you cannot treat people like that, especially when you EXPECT a 25% tip for doing nothing for me. The cook made my food. If you continue this childish behavior and don’t work towards being a real man, a real human being, then you are without a doubt going to spend the rest of your life in an entry level job. Read moreThis was not a great experience. I ordered online, which was easy. On my way to the restaurant, they called me to tell me they didn't have one if the items I ordered. I told them that's fine and they said they'd refund it.
I get to the restaurant and someone comes out to greet me - that was a nice touch! They bring my food with a receipt for me to sign and the employees asking if I want to tip. The receipt still had the item that they were out of, so I asked them to correct it. The employee told me it was fine to sign it as is because someone was correcting it on the back end. I politely asked if they'd please correct it prior to signing. The employee was still very polite and went to have it corrected. They came back out and said they need my card to correct it - which means they would not have corrected it the first time. By this time, I've had my food for 7 minutes and I'm just waiting for them to correct their mistake.
I get the food home and start unpacking it. The ranch in the mozzarella sticks wasn't closed and had leaked. The entire container for the mozzarella sticks wasn't closed and they fell out into the sink. The ranch dressing in that container and the chicken strip container wasn't closed, either. Okay, fine, I guess. I'm pretty peeved at this point.
I get my burger and fries ready to eat. The fries were cold - like, didn't even feel like they'd have been warm when I picked them up 10 minutes prior. Again, fine, the burger is where it's it. NOPE - it was the greasiest and saltiest burger I'd ever had. I could not eat it. At that point, my entire dinner was forfeit. I'd have been better off going...

Ordered during happy hour(1/2 price apps) but Carlie didn't ring it up until 7 minutes before bringing the check. Ordered a fajita, asked for extra guac and was charged for it but then I didn't get the sour cream that's supposed to come with it. The rice in the fajita looked like it was made 3 days ago and left uncovered on a counter-it was completely dried out, stale, and was overseasoned to try to mask the burnt flavor. The plate came out sizzling, but everything was also burned to it so bad I couldn't scrape it off. Ordered my steak "between med and med rare" and got 3 pieces of RARE and the rest were WELL done. They brought my mom the wrong skillet entirely, then TOLD US they TOOK it to ANOTHER TABLE(mom HAD TOUCHED IT WITH HER FINGER to confirm it was shrimp NOT chicken) and brought the correct one to our table more than 5 minutes later. ~2 stars ONLY because they took off the extra charges ONLY AFTER I pointed it out AND ASKED her to talk to a manager about it.
