Tried the Chick-Fil-A next to the new Costco in Salem. It was lunch time and the line of cars were deep - two lanes. Considered going inside but no parking space then. We waited our turn in the car. There were two workers taking orders. Almost 30 minutes to get to an order taker. The two lanes went down to one lane. Waited another 15 minutes to get to the window. Received our drinks and noticed one drink ordered was to a large but got a medium. Told to pull forward to get our order. Told the girl the medium should be a large. She got it exchanged. In looking at our ticket, it did say medium, order takerâs mistake. The order was eaten at home. We ordered the chicken deluxe meal and got medium lemon-white peach shakes. The chicken burgers were both spicy, where one was to be regular. Ticket said both were spicy. Order taker mistake again. Not a fan of a lot of spice but the chicken was edible, but not fully enjoyed. The lemon-white peach shake was okay but had a slight bitter after taste. I have never been a fan of the waffle style French fried potatoes. Some probably do like it - different but fan of regular cut fries. Overall, not a âHappy Mealâ experience. We may try them again not so close...
Read moreI've been to this location several times now since it first opened, both in the dining room, and drive through. I've ordered thorough the app, at the counter, and through the drive-through attendant. The experience is usually very smooth, and pleasant no matter how I've engaged with them.
The drive-through lines are still pretty crazy most of the time, but the dining room is usually not super crowded. Every worker I've encountered here has been extremely friendly, and helpful. I know they put a lot of effort into training them to be so, and honestly, it pays off. It's a stark contrast to the sort of apathetic, quasi hostile attitude of the average fast food worker most other places.
The food is usually quick to come out once you've ordered, and the quality is quite good and very consistent. I really enjoy the large variety of sauces they have available, and have settled on a combination of the Polynesian sauce and Sweet and Spicy Sriracha as my favorite. I love their frosted lemonade. If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor and pick one up the next time you...
Read moreIf you felt a disturbance in the queerforce it was probably me ... I ate at CfA for the first time EVER as part of my daughters softball team after the first day of their state tournament ... I have stalwartedly avoided and actively protested against this faux Christian corporation since they opened ... I ate a chicken sandwich ... and i do feel guilty for having done so. However i do have to say ... yhe food was nothing special... angels didn't sing... I didn't start speaking in tongues... nor did the world end because I crossed the picket line. It's still a terrible company that I will go out of my way to confront until they act the way Jesus would towards his LGBTQI+ children... and in the mean time, I will still call them out. Interestingly, politics aside, I truly don't understand why anyone would get excited about their food. It was a mediocre fried chicken sandwich. Anyway now I know.. and...
