Thank you for your response, I appreciate you taking the time to look into my concerns and address them accordingly. We will definitely give Crumbl another go as even though they were underbaked, they were good. We just want to make sure what we get wont cause those of us with more sensitve digestive systems any issues due to underbaked goods that may contain eggs. Thank you very much!!
Original Review
We heard a lot about this place in the last several months and finally decided to give it a go. The place itself is clean, the people were supper friendly and, conveniently nextdoor to Starbucks! Unfortunately, there is a "However" involved in this. Coming from a long history of professional bakers and food handelers in my family, there were a few things that just didn't ring proper about a few of the cookies I got that week. Aside from the astronomical price for a single cookie (I got the 4 pack because it made sense price wise and this way, were able to try a good variety), two of the 4 cookies we got, I don't remember the names off hand but one was called "Wedding cake" were completely underbaked. Like, Paul-Hollywood-Claggy underbaked. If these have raw eggs in them, I would certainly be concerned. The center of the two cookies were gummy and doughy. Not what I want to see in a properly baked cookie. The one saving grace in the box was the graham cracker & fudge filling one. I am more than willing to give them another go but if all the cookies are served underbaked, that might hinder my decision in the future, sadly. Please bake your cookies all the way through for health and safety purposes. I would like to make one small suggestion, since my spouse is gluten sensitive, having one or two gluten-free varieties would be nice, that way my spouse can enjoy them as well. Doesn't have to be made in a gluten-free area as long as the cookies themselves are gluten-free or made with...
Read moreI would share a photo however it’s not a pretty sight, my family loves and devours them. I wanted to leave a review this time as I do go at least every other month, but this time I noticed something extra. I called prior to let them know I was driving from another city to come get my order, to notice the box had a band around it black with a bow and all. While driving home on 22 this lady had slammed her brakes to notice the party box flew so I pulled over to make sure they survived, if they hadn’t wrapped that bow around that box, you can imagine the ending. I think he caught that I said I would be driving a distance so assured they would be okay for the drive which was just so above and superior customer service. I felt a shout out and a Thank you for above the normal customer service skills and the attention to detail and listening skills this location has. My...
Read moreIt's really hard to screw up cookies but CRUML has built their business on doing so.
Nothing against this location in particular, I just hate their standard cookies and the very rare special edition cookie I have liked isn't worth the constant disappointment of the most dry and flavorless cookies you've ever eaten. I forget the name of it, but the one with the pink frosting? It's got enough almond extract in it to kill a small town.
most of the time, if the cookie isn't the texture and consistency of desert sand, it's mostly raw. I'm sure they don't use ingredients that can make you sick if not cooked properly, like eggs, milk, or butter so you probably are safe consuming them, but I can think of better ways to spend $6 that don't end with a chance at salmonella and a guarantee of...
