If you don't mind a little second-hand smoke and yellowed walls, the Spring Creek Cafe offers delicious homemade country-style food in generous portions for a more than decent price. The staff are attentive and friendly, and you'll leave "filled to the gills" without breaking the bank. They offer delicious breakfasts, burgers, chicken fried steak and open-faced roast beef with all the fixin's (a rotation of many veggies and sides). I don't love leaving smelling like smoke, but man, the food is really hard to beat. My husband and I go here usually every Friday night for supper. This place is never a disappointment. Home style cooking like what you would get at Grandma's house. Don't mind the way the place looks because the food is well worth it. And you sure can't beat the prices!! Updated Aug 2022 We went here today for supper. I no longer go here because I have no reason to visit the town anymore but this place was right across the street from my great grandmother's old house (she moved, shes still alive and rocking on 103, don't worry) and it was fun going over there and eating breakfast when we spent the night.
