Tony’s Taco Shop — Restaurant in Salem

This is only my 3rd time going to Tony's and I will keep going back cause the food is great. I have only ordered two items from the menu and have loved both. Both were huge burritos🌯 and I believe to be worth the 10 bucks. Filling for sure. Same girl at the widow all 3 times and is very good at taking orders and filling em with the correct items. Not an easy task these days with a lot of drive thru establishments. I won't say names but there is a children's song about an old man that had a farm and the place I'm speaking of and the old man have the same name. Anyway.... only downshift I have seen is they give you only 2 salsas per 🌯. Or you pay for extras. I believe at 10 bucks per 🌯 they would be able to swing extra sauces. But I'm bias on that situation cause I wild drink the stuff if it didn't look so weird. All in all so far... great food. ...

Food is classic greasy latin used to be better before the 'VID, lasy employees with a nasty atmosphere also soiled it. Recently I called in an order 15 mintues before closing, making it with 7 to spare... just to find the door locked although with people inside, I figured someone would at least answer the door LMAO! Why take my order just to leave me standing outside with a finger up the ykw? Overall nowadays it's lame and overhyped overtly relying on everyone saying how good it is (or rather used to be🤭), there's better places within a mile radius AND they're open later. Last time coming here for sure, hopefully so you won't have to! Keep jivin'. 🤙

EDIT: A 15 minute deadline on take-out orders would've stopped this entire thing, don't take orders if you don't intend to...

Went there tonight, ordered a small horchata, a bean and cheese burrito and a meat quesadilla. Before we even left I noticed the horchata was extra brown, I took a sip of it and it just tasted like straight cinnamon. We asked for a soda instead and they offered a refund. We declined, we just weren’t gonna drink it. We get home and my fiancé says the quesadilla just tastes like grease. He stopped eating it. The burrito was pretty good other than the fact it was 10% cheese 90% beans which was kind of disappointing. Then I got to almost the end and found a piece of PLASTIC in my mouth. Needless to say I threw the rest away. This place used to be really good but the last few times I’ve been it hasn’t been as good AND I just found plastic in my food...
