McDonald's — Restaurant in Salida

They have self order kiosks and added table delivery of food like Culvers does. Maybe the added responsibility of an already chaotic work environment is why the food quality was terrible. Our burgers were hardly warmer than room temperature. This could be visibly seen by the completely un-melted piece of cheese on them that wasn't even stuck to the patty. Which indicates to me that the burger was already cold when assembling it. I thought maybe it was a busy day and didn't want to complain so I scarfed it down. This is McDonald's after all; not a 5 star restaurant. I then decided to get a shamrock shake since they are in season. Something tasted off. It was super potent flavor wise. minutes later it made me literally sick to the point that I vomited. Either way I drove half an hour because I was craving some fast food, and I don't think I will ever crave fast food again. I guess I should thank them for making my bad food...

So I live in this tiny town and I only have so many options for fast food. This McDonald’s has unfortunately disappointed me multiple times. They don’t care what you’re ordering and don’t care to check that it’s correct. It’s always a hit or miss. Please pay more attention to what the customer is ordering. I understand some customers are frustrating and I don’t want to shed light on the obnoxious ones. We are very common customers and we don’t always get what we ordered. We don’t make a fuss or upset employees because we understand the position the employees are in. Just asking for quality checks is all. I tell you what I ordered and it’s like 80% correct. That just a little frustrating. Thank you for your work and everything you do but please focus on the details. It’s not always about rushing food out the door. Make sure we get what we ask...

Went on Friday night and Saturday morning. Food was very good. I could see the associates in back and up front working diligently to get all the orders processed. Service was outstanding from Andre, who was there late and early! He was doing everything... taking orders, delivering to tables, cleaning up people's messes. Friday night there were some noisy teens and Saturday morning I met my first "Karen". She came up to Andre and started yelling at him because one of the customers was asleep at their table and Andre wasn't telling him to leave. Well Andre didn't have time because he was handling customers'orders, one right after the other! I mentioned this to "Karen" and she yelled at me. Well Andre handled himself with professionalism and poise. McDonalds is fortunate to have him and the other folks...
