Gambino's Pizza — Restaurant in Salina

We had the buffet at 12:00 on a Saturday. Price was about $10 per person. The pizza is high quality for buffet pizza. Selection of pizza was small compared to something like a Cici's.

The biggest problem is the seating and size of the restaurant. I'm not disabled, but if I were, would not have been comfortable maneuvering around the people and tables. We also had to wait to eat the buffet. And then felt rushed to finish due to the people crowding in what little space they could find to wait. There either needs to be dedicated bussing staff, or other staff trained to clean tables ASAP. There were two people taking orders/operating phones while a couple tables needed cleaned. There is also no apparent way to clear your own plates.

This would probably be a 5 star review if this place were in a bigger building or had any kind of seating order system (text when ready and sit in your car until then. I would have rated 2 stars because of the experience, but the food quality...

just moved here from out of state and thought we would try a local place, we ordered 50 dollars of food, the pizza was a bit soft/soggy but we figured they were busy so whatever but the cheesy bread we ordered for our son was over cooked and hardly had any cheese what so ever, which I wouldn't had minded had the picture online not showed something completely different and we only received 4 wings for a half pound of wings and we were told it was based off weight and that the wings were large. I can infact say they were not and for 9 dollars you would expect to get more than 4 wings, also when we called the manager was rude to my husband and in regards to the bread the manager said what did you expect, well I sure did expect the food that my 3 year picked out to look like the picture. after the rudeness of the manager and the poor quality of the food, I definitely don't think my family will be...

This was my first time at Gambino's Pizza. The young man who rang up my son and I at the counter was beyond courteous in a very decent employee. He kept apologizing that the pizza wasn't Super Fresh but it was very good pizza. The ravioli in the salad was very. The ravioli and the salad bar was very good too. Like I said he was a very apologetic young man and he didn't have to be. He even gave me the the buffet card for so many punches when you're there and you get the freebie after I think 10 visits. The pizza was very good and warm I enjoyed the jalapeno and then the the chicken and Ranch pizza. The ravioli was excellent! My son and I will definitely back there for pizza and definitely the lunch buffet when we get a chance. The lunch buffet was a very good value for the money!...
