Gourmet Eats — Restaurant in Salina

This is the 2nd time (and I’m sure they do it every day) that I watched both workers in the back make a sandwich and prepare all the food with no gloves on. The first time I witnessed it happened the owner said it would be corrected but I just went there again today and I asked him to remake my sandwich with gloves on, and boy was he not happy. He did remake the sandwich and opened the drive through window to shove the box in my hand, after telling him thank you, he slammed the drive through window as hard as he could. This is not your momma's kitchen. There are unique twists to their food but yet they sound delicious. I tried the club sandwich and chips. They have a different special every day. On Wednesdays it's like bacon Mac and cheese which sounds delicious. I also saw a John wick sandwich that had peanut butter, pickles, siracha and pepper jack. Very unique! Went here for lunch with my wife and we had a pretty good experience. We both got the lunch special, The Birdy, it's a grilled chicken thigh sandwich with avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a chipotle ranch. It was very delicious and fresh!
