Hank's Tavern — Restaurant in Salina

HELLO ALL! Today I went to Hanks Tavern with.... Wait for it! ..... FRIENDS FROM MY WORK!!! This time I was not with family. Hanks Tavern was REALLY crowded (it's the weekend so obviously) and it did take close to 20 min for me to get a drink (Coke and tequila {double shot of course}). A good friend handed me a beer and I actually drank the whole thing! I know that sounds childish to say but it's true. I'm not a fan of beer that's why I think it's a big thing. The men's restroom was clean the tables a little sticky (to be expected since it's a Saturday). But other than the wait time for a drink the employees seemed to know what they were doing and also seemed to enjoy it! I give this establishment a solid 4 Stars! Unsure how to feel about this bar, either 2 or 3 stars. Can't really comment on prices as I was a DD. Service did seem slow.

Pros: 4x FREE pool tables 2x digital table games, seem pretty cool. Newly remodeled. Patio area outside. Actually has staff. Usually 2 or more bartenders.

Cons: Bar is always packed. The crowd is not necessarily a good one either. Can be rowdy, really only outdone by The Hideaway. Even with several bartenders, staff can be overwhelmed. Wait times can be long. Although there are plenty of pool tables, they are still somewhat cramped. Sometimes will hit other table's...

Great place! I visited the first time about 2 months ago. Great drinks, good people and most of the bartenders are AWESOME! The other regulars that come in are just as awesome, like I knew most everyone. I'll see you guys...
