First of all, I want to say that I always have great service from the employees here, especially the morning team, but I guess tonight was THE NIGHT. I went in about an hour before closing time and the girls there were doing cleaning duties. Nothing wrong with that, but when I went up to the counter to place an order Mayra was the one who rung me up. She stepped away from her sweeping duties to take my order. I told her I wanted two toasted white chocolate mocha frappes. She responded with " you said soy?" and I responded with, "um...regular"? At this point I could tell that her mind was probably somewhere else. I couldn't be further from the truth. The girl who made the drinks seemed nice, but i realized that my drinks werent right. they were two vanilla creme frappes. I'm not one to be picky or angry usually and I understand that people make mistakes, but when I informed Mayra that they didn't look like toasted white chocolate mochas, she responded kinda rudely with " I repeated your order and that's what you said." I usually don't let things get to me, but she's basically calling me a liar. You don't respond to people like that. whether they said one thing or another. you just ride it out and go on with your life, but the fact that she said that to my face, and she told the girl made my drinks that I changed my mind is ridiculous. Nothing against this place at all, but I am going to call out Mayra, from that moment I can tell what type of person she is. A lazy person who probably makes excuses for everything. Someone whose head is up in the clouds 24/7 and people have to pick up her slack. I'm sorry that the people in this store probably have to deal with her attitude that I assume she always tries to be correct about things. If I was in management, this would be an employee whose hours I would cut to the max in order for them to realize that I wouldn't want them there. Keep staying headstrong Constitution. Thanks for being there for everybody, sorry you have to deal with someone who's IQ must be room temperature...
Read moreI have been going to this Starbucks for years, ever since day 1 of its opening. For most of the part, the employees there have been great people, so was the service. At least until 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago I went there and ordered my usual, a large cup of hot tea. Starbucks always provided 2 tea bags for large cup of tea. Typically 2 tea bags is too strong for me, so I have always requested to have 1 of the tea bags to be out on the side so I can enjoy it later when I am home. And I have done this for many years, from every Starbucks I have ever visited. At least until 2 weeks ago. The girl behind the counter who took my order told me they can't do that for me because it's against corporate policies. I was rather shocked. But I paid for the order anyway without making a scene. Subsequently I have stopped going to this Starbucks even though I live nearby. That's because these 2 weeks I went to 10 other Starbucks both in Bay area and elsewhere in the county, and every one of these Starbucks happily fulfilled my request. If it's corporate policy then at least one of these visits would have denied me of my request. None did. So my conclusion is that either that girl has a problem with me or it is indeed a corporate policy for this location. I will take my...
Read moreThey got my order correct. (Now, I normally don't make reviews like this but I was so disappointed in the service) I can't say the same about my friend though. They forgot her bagel and when she went back to get it, they gave her attitude and charged her .70¢ more. Honestly, they should have given her a refund, or a voucher for 50% off or something, for the mistake. They were very rude about the whole situation. It might be from racial discrimination or something because they were very nice and polite to me. They made sure I was...
