The gentleman that helped us (maybe the owner?) was very friendly and the donuts were so yummy! He didn't have any custard filled donuts available so he offered to fill the donuts with custard for us on the spot!!! The donuts tasted fresh and the coffee was good too. Every time I visit my hometown I make sure to stop by my Sunshine Donut for that simple classic donut in a quaint little plaza in South Salinas.
