We sat for 15 mins before a server came over to greet us. A party much larger than the 4 of us came in well after us, sat down and had drinks in front of them before we even saw our drinks on the way to us. They had appetizers in front of them well before our food got to us, even though we had placed our order before them. The waitress was rude and almost never at our table checking in on us and certainly not getting us a refill on our drinks. At the end I made a mistake on the amount of money I left for the bill, the waitress quite literally counted the money in front of us and said "what, no tip?" In front of all her other tables. I work as a server myself and I would NEVER approach someone who did not tip or did not leave enough. On top of that, if my manager ever found out that I approached someone about the tip they left, I would be fired on the spot. It was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. And although I had terrible service I will always tip a person what I think is fair for the service they provide. I gave her more money as I felt bullied into giving her more because it wasn't enough for her liking. Because of her actions I will never step foot back inside this restaurant. This happened a few months ago and I am just now writing this review because I was discussing this story with one of my customers that asked me if I had tried Families and I told her the above story. She completely agreed and said she had the same thing happen to her with the tip. If you provide terrible service you don't deserve 20% let alone a tip at all and to be bullied into giving more money is completely insane and management needs to look into this disgusting act that their servers are clearly doing to multiple people. Read moreWe decided to help small business durning this time and order food for delivery they called when arrived I was already outside called back said outside so am I know 10 min later trying get tru them ask where food it there no it not I been out here for 20 mins well on stairs which where I was no it not here well driver waited 5 min the left on start Cope and attitude with me Then rude telling it my fault I wasn’t out side wont even allow me speak just trying know where food went come find out drop off at another place but yet still coping attitude with me now I’m bout give it back but no were gunna send another driver for new order and I explained my building still receiving their attitude For no reason mind You I call ordered at 6pm now it 730 2nd driver calls I’m ten mins away b I’m outside still 25 min later nothing call place oo driver got lost mind you I only 5 min away driver got lost and my food was left on step again that what wrong location I’m still outside no one been in our out my driveway 3rd driver will send food called 15 min later food on it way be there in 30 min later driver arrives and snaps out food at us again can someone explain why your lashing out on me when I wasn’t the one who messed up i can promise you I will not be back ever again after that unnecessary . Mistakes happened but don’t take out on wrong person when I choose you to spend my money at your restaurant . Nothing like cold dinner at 9 at nite . We had ordered shrimp with broccoli and a few other side dishes. We specifically asked her if their shrimp with broccoli was made with sauce and she proceeded to assure us that it was. She was actually pleasant until we expressed our concerns about how the shrimp with broccoli wasn’t a good dish and nothing at all to what we expected. She proceeded to tell us how she will speak to the manager to see what could be done. Only to tell us that those two dishes of shrimp with broccoli cannot be taken off the bill and had a bit of an attitude. We then asked for the manager, which had an even worse attitude telling us how there was nothing to be done due to not being able to resell the broccoli with shrimp and we would either need to pay $32 for food we didn’t touch or hope that the restaurant could fix our dishes. And you would understand my apprehension with this proposal since we already disliked the dish. It truly had nothing to do with the food itself but the lack understatement when it came to their costumers. As well as the lack of utter disrespect, claiming we wanted to order a bunch off the menu and pay for nothing. Even after I expressed that we were more than willing to pay for our other five dishes just not the dishes we didn’t even take a full bite of.
