La Cabanita Mexican catering and restaurant — Restaurant in Salisbury

I saw some of the more negative reviews and went in wary, but was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food.

The place wasn't busy for the weekend holiday lunch when we went, but that shouldn't make you second guess the quality. And to further address some other reviews - no, the place is not decked out with fancy tables and decor, but this isn't a fine dining experience so we could care less about that . Besides, the atmosphere is still warm and colorful without being either tacky or too bare.

The service was friendly and patient (which is key since I take a notoriously long time to decide on food, especially with a new menu in hand). And the food? DELICIOUS. I ate well beyond when I was full simply because I didn't want anything to go to waste. The prices are great and definitely fair, the portions are generous, and everything down to the homemade sauces and salsa are on point.

Don't let the negative ratings steer you away or you'll miss out on something great. They're mostly based on a claimed lack of alcohol anyway - which IS on the menu, though we didn't order any - and desire for different decor. Ignore those. The authenticate and amazing food deserves much...

Edit: Miguel did not enjoy this review. I was told to come back with my food for a refund. When I got there he decided to blow up in my face an threw my MONEY back at me. 30$ I paid $32.44 Miguel! you still owe me 2.44 cents. Keep it as I feel half the reason you yelled at me was because you have a failing restaurant. I feel you need the $2.44 more than I do!!!

Horrible service food even worse!! they sent my friends food out first. He was able to eat his entire meal before I even got to look at my food. They took so long to bring it out we had to go. Take it to go and had to wait even LONGER. Finally get my food only to see it’s all OVER cooked and tougher than my leather boots!!! PLUS I DIDNT EVEN GET A RIBEYE!!
