Bertram's Salmon Valley Brewery — Restaurant in Salmon

My family and I walked in right when the large party in the back had gotten there food. I walked in with my family on October 1st around 7:15 pm. As I observed the table table next to us the server neglected us before finally coming to take our order and bring our drinks over after acknowledging us multiple times while standing by the pos station flipping through her server book. Two parties of two walked in after we have been sitting down for 20 minutes, they sat up at the high tops. During this our server came over and finally took our order and brought the drinks back once we ordered them they came pretty quick, thinking that service would be better after receiving our drinks in a timely manner it got worse. After an hour and fifteen minutes go by the two tables that walked in awhile after us had gotten there order and a few refills while our cups remained empty for quite awhile. We received our meal at about 9:12 pm after my uncle stood up to find a manger. Kudos to the cook, the food had great flavor, however, my pasta was very over sauced, the salmon we ordered was over cooked and the skin was burnt. The mac and cheese and steak was great. Went there for dinner tonight at about 7:00 PM, the bar area was crowded, so we moved to the dining room. About 4 tables were occupied and the majority were empty. We sat there for over 15 minutes, and although a server ( who waited on the other tables) passed through the room 3 times made eye contact with us, she never talked to us, although she did converse with other tables. So, realizing we weren't going to be helped, we went to The Ranch Restaurant. We were greeted there upon arrival, and the service was exemplary. The prime rib we had was excellent. We enjoyed Bertrams in the past, but we aren't too happy with them now. We're locals who like to eat out about once a week, throughout the year. Too bad we were ignored!! We wish Bertrams good luck, we won't be frequenting them until...

While the chicken in my chicken parmigiana was well prepared that's about all that was good about my meal. Have these people never heard of it being served with pasta? The waitress gave me a choice of potatoes or rice, plus a vegetable. Potatoes? Seriously?? This is not a restaurant I will return to, nor can I recommend it.

Edit: I did indeed mention to the server that pasta would be a more appropriate side with this dish and was told that this was not an option. I then chose to have no sides at all, just the chicken. I would also suggest discussing makeup and attire with the staff as, quite frankly, the first time I looked up at the waitress as she took my order I was quite startled and pretty shocked by her makeup.
