Why do I always feel like something shady is happening behind the scenes everytime I come to a McDonalds!? First of all, why are ALL McDonalds after midnight systems down!? Us night workers rely on 24 hour businesses when we want lunch. Why is this ALWAYS a problem!? It's not like this rarely happens - it happens EVERY WEEK, possibly every night! What is going on!? You're a BILLION DOLLAR Company! How are the systems going down constantly!? I wrote a simular review for South Jordan location a few months ago. It's still happening!? If this is a regular occurance, can you just shut down so we're not wasting our time!? Tonight, at 3am, we were told they were only doing manual orders. So I waited 10 mins in the drive thru. I finally get to the window. I order & I give the young man my card to pay. He comes back with it asking what my PIN number is! Are you serious!? I didn't cause a scene, but I asked him if he can run it as credit like normal & he said no. I said well I'm not giving you my pin. Can I type it in myself? He said no because they are using the older machine & he has to type it in. I know right from wrong & this was 100% WRONG! That is 100% unprofessional & really shady to be asking for peoples PIN numbers! RIGHT!? What is going on McDonalds!? THIS is why I feel like something shady is always going on! This young man was very nice so I'm not mad at him or blaming him. I'm sure he was just doing what he was told, but most of the time I'm there, the people have an attitude & you feel like you have to be overly nice so they don't do something to your food. This is just how I feel & after this weird situation, I am definitely worried now because who knows what was done with my card. I am NEVER returning. I'm tired of feeling like I'm the burden & worried that something bad is going to happen to my food & now my finances & I'm not even rude, EVER! I felt bad for confronting this young man about the pin number. Not cool McDonalds! I feel like a "Karen" right now, but man you can only have so many situations happen before you have to tell someone & I'm sure I'm not the only one. Asking for your PIN number is NOT OK! Read moreDo NOT go here!! I’ve foolishly gone back multiple times- and I never will again. RIDICULOUSLY SLOW. Dishonest, poor management with complete lack of basic customer service. Their machines are always down, wouldn’t honor coupon which didn’t even require purchase- even with 25+ minute wait (with about 5 cars ahead in the drive-thru), completely rude and disrespectful. Workers are teenagers who couldn’t care less. I asked to speak with the manager (which the original employee I was speaking with, tried to tell me the manager didn’t speak good English, and tried to avoid involving her)- then when she came out, and I politely asked if she would honor a free item on the McDonald’s app, (which didn’t even require purchase and I was even making one)- she said since their system was down she couldn’t do it. The original employee also said they technically could do Apple Pay and then when I was speaking with the manager, she said they absolutely couldn’t- NO apology, no sympathy, or attempts to remedy the situation in anyway. This was all after waiting in line for over 25 minutes for a very small order. I was definitely surprised and taken back by the extremely low level of customer service and the multiple ways in which they took zero responsibility. Once I finally got to the second window to pick up my one item I had to wait there probably five minutes and there was no one at the second window even there. I saw two of the original teenagers just pushing a car in the back while I was waiting. They’re still going on 30 minutes for my one drink. I was totally polite and respectful to this mess managed team, despite their unsatisfactory treatment, and I hope the responsible staff is replaced with somewhat competent employees asap. For reference- I didn’t get the name of the manager who should definitely be reprimanded/fired but the particular manager was female, had dark hair with short pixie cut and multiple facial piercings. (She also speaks English just fine despite other employees trying to manipulate the situation and not get a manager by saying she doesn’t speak English well.) Read moreIf I could give less than a star, I would. My family and I were going on an early morning hike and decided to stop at McDonald's for some food before our adventure. We went through the drive-through. The speaker box had so much feedback that myself and the employee could barely hear one another. They stated they could hear me just fine multiple times, so I continued to place my order. I ordered 4 sausage egg and cheese combos with orange juice to drink and one medium caramel macchiato. I drove to the window. They were able to give me a portion of my order. Ask me to pull forward to spot number one, and they would bring out the rest of my order. In my car. I had 2 sausage, egg and cheese, and 2 hatch Browns. They brought 2 sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches to the car and that was all. I asked for the remaining items, and they said they would be back shortly. Upon coming back to my car that had brought the Carmel mocky out and to hash Browns. A caramel macchiato was basically milk with caramel flavoring and no coffee. At this point I decided to take all of the food inside and just have them correct it. The person behind the counter was very confused and very put out by my request of having my order fixed to what I had originally ordered. What I assume was a manager came over and grabbed the caramel macchiato out of my hand and said. I will fix this. They went over to a coffee machine. Put in some coffee flavoring and return to the beverage to me. I started looking around and noticed. They were multiple people at the counter having issues with their orders from drive through. 1 person was asking why there was no protein on their sausage, egg and cheese Sandwich.
